3Dice scratch card

Ok.....so instead of a bonus, you get a scratch card.

You scratch it off in 2 seconds, and have a shot at actually GETTING the bonus?

And when you don't get 1c for a bonus, you're supposed to sit back and enjoy it?

Even if you're a loyal, consistantly depositing customer?

Where's the justification in that?

I'm not sure if anyone here has heard of something called a "lottery ticket." It's normally a piece of paper with a bunch of numbers printed on it and you wait a little bit to see if your numbers match. If they do, you win.

There's also another thing (again, not sure if people here have heard of it) called an "instant ticket" or "scratch-off ticket." It's just like a "lottery ticket", but you don't have to wait for a drawing to find out if you won. You scratch it, go thru what it tells you to do, and then determine by what's on the ticket if you have won or not.

Both of these games are based on 100% PURE LUCK. THE EXACT SAME PRINCIPLE applies to the 3Dice scratch cards. Just because its not a guaranteed win doesn't mean that people should look down on them saying their new system sucks. Boo hoo hoo.

Anyone who can name me one lottery that gives away tickets to its customers for doing nothing more than playing loyally with them, I will eat my words.

If you don't like the scratchcards, then don't play them. There are plenty of other people out there who would take a chance for free of hitting free money by being a loyal customer.

Bottom line: A casino is like a box of chocolates - you NEVER KNOW what you're gonna get. If you're lactose-intolerant, don't eat the chocolate. If you're too sensitive that you lost out on something that wasn't a guaranteed win in the first place, don't gamble.

I think you are missing the point Slotking.

Personally I do not play at 3Dice but if I was loyal player and my "Bonus" was a worthless waste of my time it really wouldn't feel like a bonus now would it?

That is the point people are making that it feels like an insult when it is in fact supposed to be of some consolation.

Even B&M Casinos offer decent loyalty bonuses and freebies to loyal players as well as nearly all online Casino's, why make a comparison with something irrelevant such as the lottery?

A loyalty bonus that pisses off your best customers is probably not the best, surely you get that?

K... I will stay true to my word and eat my own words.

But, my opinion stands on the other issues. The enjoyment is meant to come from scratching the card itself, not from possibly reaping the reward after.

heh, I'm down a few thou at the harrah's group this year, and when they send me a post card telling me I have $10 free waiting for me (..when it costs $50 in gas and tolls to get there and back..) I just want to shit on it and send it back to them.

...sort of like what I'd do with a $0 scratch card, if I played there anymore...

Almost the same with Philadelphia Park "Casino" (slots only)....they send me a book of $5 certificates - one for each week of the month.......(takes $25 round trip to there).....I still haven't received a response to my email that I fired off last month. :)

Actually, their promotion was worse than Virtual's. The top 3 WAGERERS on the 3 card poker video machines for one certain day would "win" 2 tickets to see a Philadelphia Eagles game. I told them any serious gambler with half a brain would go out and buy the tickets and save a ton of dough. Maybe they'll get a clue?

I revert back to one of my other posts. It seems people have a "sense of entitlement" mentality when it comes to bonuses. I don't want to go down this road again, but it needs to be said.

I make the lottery comparison because that is EXACTLY what the SC can be likened to... it is completely relevant to this topic.

I'm sure other casinos offer bigger and better bonuses. Good for them. The fact that they do doesn't change my opinion that it strikes me as weird that people are once again complaining over something that never had to be given to them in the first place.

Sorry SlotKing, I just can not get a grip of where you are coming from on this but of course you are entitled to your view.

The reason a lottery is not relevant is because as far as I know people are not members of their local newsagent popping in out 24/7 giving them brisk business on lottery sales.
There is no comparison between a lottery and online casino when it comes to loyalty :eek2:

As for people complaining about a freebie (that is worthless!) you have to see it in relative terms.
Do you think 3Dice would want to continue with something that is losing them business?

Anyway I will leave the arguing to people who do play at 3Dice I was just very surprised at your opinion.

Dude,

If casinos (online or off) stopped giving bonuses/comps away, they WOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS.

Service rates at the top, of course, but without bonuses, they're dead in the water, plain and simple.

So don't be pushing this stuff about how players aren't entitled to bonuses/comps/etc and shouldn't complain when they don't get them.

AND FWIW: I no longer play at any online casinos, let alone 3Dice, nor am I an affiliate of them, so no, I don't have any agenda for posting this, so don't even go there, kkthx.

When you buy a scratch card or lottery ticket the possibility of it being worthless is already built into your expectation of outcome. Loyalty bonuses are an unexpected treat that casinos offer to players. When you receive one, your expectation of outcome includes a free deposit and playtime. The players who posted in this thread are unhappy that their loyalty bonus proved worthless. That's all folks!:D

The last person on earth you would need to tell that a casino would be out of business without offering some sort of comp or bonus program is me.

What on earth would possess you to think that I would question your motives for posting? You are entitled to your say on this subject as well as me and everyone else in the world. I would never presume to think you (or anyone else for that matter) were saying that on behalf of anyone.

My whole point? Why complain about something if it's FREE?

maybe

It makes you think that the people who come up with these promotions have never gambled in their lives and have absolutely no idea about their clientele.

If you can only afford shitty Monthly comps then make them Once a Year and Twelve times better!
They will be appreciated instead of scorned.

I am amazed at how bad the ones you mention are.
I thought they would be better than over here but if you play as a regular here for that sort of money you would get much better.

My whole point? Why complain about something if it's FREE?

Because the something is nothing!

Sorry I said I would leave it but you know how it is ;)

My last post on this issue.

You're still not getting it.

People are not complaining about free stuff.

They are complaining about GETTING SLAPPED IN THE FACE BY THE CASINO THEY BLOW MONEY AT AND ARE ENTITLED TO SOMETHING IN RETURN.

'nuff said.

I like free chips and i can not lie 3dice aint being so fly what i need is no slap in da face just monies to save the disgrace as a nice comedown cos't i lost me shirt.. mc,hurt yah get me :D

NH state lottery does reward it's players randomly

Yes.. New Hampshire state lottery at times runs specials. Where If you buy..like 5 Power ball tickets then it will randomly select "instant winners".
They run your ticket through and suddenly the machine will play music and say "congratulations your a winner" some are set amounts $50. Other times the special will say how much... like "congratulations you have won $10 ($20, $50)"

They also have a "replay" where you can submit losing tickets online to be entered for a chance to winner numerous prizes.

So, yes Slotking New Hampshire state lottery does reward their players for playing loyally with them.
(now i need to catch up on this thread... wow.. it grew while I slept)

Well>????? YES.. double post... thread seemed to derail a bit..lol
LOL... I am just wondering...

Is there anyone else here who "is not eligible" to receive their scratch card until September 1st??

I will only be receiving a "$5 scratch card" ... But when mine was not in the cashier section like all of you guys yesterday I asked live support. And That was their explanation which IMO is just a stall technique.

I have not made one deposit there since that day that I stated I would not make any deposits. So IF I can not get mine until the 1st of the month chances are my level will drop dramatically and quite possibly to the point where I am not eligible for one at all because my "level" will be too low. At least that is what I understand of the new vip level/bonus system

I say go get your chips and have a blast.
I think most of the time when places give you them for free you never win on them anyways. (Some places lets you win at times)
They all make you eat them so you will deposit when the bag is empty. If you Win on them Great going & hope you win more.
