I chose, at random, 3 successive gamehands of Caribbean Stud Poker at 3dice. I chose them before I saw the first of the three. I decided that the number of hands would be three, that they would all be chosen with the maximum bet with side bet placed, AND that I would fold all three. All of this during a free-roll tournament. I decided that, after the first hand, I was only really interested in the player's cards as I had already decided to fold all three hands in advance so, in the second shot, I captured the screen before the dealer's cards were exposed. My subsiding tournament chip balance obviously reflects three hands played and folded at $50 + .10 each. After taking the 3 following screenshots I can honestly say that I feel that these three successive gamehands are nothing out of the ordinary or usual from any other online CSP that I have experienced over the last five years. I love 3dice! Enzo's great! I have no issues with 3dice and, furthermore, I feel that the cards dealt at 3dice's CSP aren't any more or less typical than CSP cards dealt at any other online casino. In fact, I consider them all to be about the same in that respect. My only point is that I have played thousands of CSP hands at dozens of brick and mortar casinos over the last 10+ years - as long as I can remember CSP being first offered in the Western US - and in all that time I have yet to see cards fly in this dimension as I have witnessed in cyberspace. But haven't we come to take for granted this alternative reality? Haven't we come to accept the people, places and situations we encounter online as we have accepted what we have known in the real world? This cyberworld was predicted long ago, in the last century, in fact, and, at the time, this place was simply referred to as: The Twilight Zone. I present the following for your consideration:

who cares?

@repro: what does age of thread have to do with it? is there some question posed that I missed, or does OP just enjoy clicking sound of keyboard?
@bingo:There must be a short list of birthdays/images to post, so u come outta the wood work to...??? I guess now I don't see 2 points: The op's and urs Bingo. Yes, its an old thread... It's also an unanswered thread... Hmmmmm? Hmm? Anyone?

Wow... did you have too much to drink last night ??? geez...

On topic: I really don't see his point. This happens to me in landbased casino's all the time. I even get screwed by the bank who hits 3OAK against my 2 pairs three times in a row. Who cares ? Shit happens.

All I can say is come to work with me & you see babies die in your arms & after that you will respect everyone else's birthday.
The joy of life & it starts on your birthday.& it should never be the end of life for anyone.
And this is why I will wish anyone a happy day.Even if I hate someone I will wish them the best.
Happy Birthday
Thank You.

This was just bad and very inappropriate.

Of course people will wonder when you reply on a 3-4 year old thread. What the f*** 3mptyseat.

@rainmaker

Maybe I really am an ass, but wtf good is provoking me without a serious answer to my question? Commentary aside, u think that a bot which speeds up play gives the player an advantage, sooooooooooo, idc wtf u think about my statements or the fact that its a 4 year old post, bc that theory  is so illogical, I can't imagine what else you may think...

I don't believe that a bot gives the player an advantage in RTP. The bot will only "help" the player to lose faster. But I believe it gives the player an advantage in gameplay that is not humanly possible. I have also said that I know most people don`t agree with me on this, so I really don`t understand why you would point out this now.

Strange how you suddenly turned into a troll in this thread.

Apologies fair RainMaker, Sir.

Sir RainMaker,
I have attempted to ask a question. I now see the error in my ways. And while I can admit that I have jumped on some of the derailing comments with more offense than was needed, I am beside myself that you can't see the irony in the suggestion that my retorts were 'trollish', when, IMHO, ur comments seemed antagonistic, and frankly, like reprimands from an authority, while also being completely off the topic I had originally queried on and as such, fight provoking...

Whatever. I give up. Moderator Rainmaker, i presume? I apologize. Because your disapproving remarks have generated such appropriate shame for me, I now respect your authority... And, I shall have you know, I live in fear of ever offending ur reasonable sensibilities again...

So, accept these humble apologies and forget that I ever asked about this thread... While I thought the OP was interesting and possibly saying something of interest or merit, I stand corrected. The subject of the OP is of secondary, even tertiary importance to two key facts; 1) This thread is old and therefore, old. and 2) I have made some inappropriate remarks in response to derailing, off-topic commentary.

the point is ?

@@ bern is a deep thinker :D so i realy think he musta had a point :D and
i love everyone :p in this thread :notworthy:notworthy

and what i see that bern was trying to show is that the dealer had his fill cards as i see it ;))

See, I don't understand posts like these. What is the purpose lol. I think he had a valid question and I don't think it merited anyone jumping down anyones throat. I think that if the thread is on the forum, it can be addressed, that is the purpose of a forum, right?

Excuse me while I go necro the first post ever.

Sheeesh relax boys!

For someone that doesn't take things too seriously, you are taking me way too seriously. lol :p All good Mr. Gremmy! I apologize if it came off snarky, it definitely wasn't my intention.

No one should have to apologize for being snarky, if snarkiness is warranted. I see a member acting like judge and jury, I see another one being downright mean and judgmental. And, I see one being labeled a troll simply because he ran across an old thread that interested him.

Any time someone searches this site and finds and questions an old post, it is a learning experience for a lot of new members. And that is a good thing.

I "labeled" him a troll in this thread, but that was not because of him "simply beeing interested in an old thread". It was because of the way he responded in this thread of course.

About old threads. I think it is unfair to both the casino and the original poster (OP in the old thread) to bump up a thread that is almost 4 years old. Many things will change in 4 years, so if any members have questions concerning problems raised in old threads, then they should start a new thread.

I have earlier today sent a PM to 3mptyseat where I apologized to him for calling him a "troll". He accepted it, and apologized back because of the way he behaved here.

Case closed, and this thread will probably not be the highlight of 2011.

Case closed? Then why post again? I don't know, just seems silly. I think that it's ok to bump a thread, especially if nobody replied four years ago. What's the issue? I don't think there is one.

I never understood either what is so taboo about bumping an old thread:confused:

There are some great threads with great ideas that just seem to die away. I have been tempted to respond to a few of these.....but don't as im concerned I may be breaking some unwritten Forum Commandment.

As long as a thread is not locked. I don't really see the problem. Otherwise, why not lock all old threads?

Actually, bumping up really old threads is considered bad forum etiquette. Mainly because many of the participants in the original thread could have dormant accounts or just not monitoring that thread anymore. It's called "necrobumping" - bringing dead threads to life. :p

One solution: you see an interesting (but really old thread) - start a new thread referencing the older one. This guarantees a fresh dialogue and not one that needs to be dusted off.

And please remember, let's be cool to one another. Thanks!

ty for the ettiquette lessson, CM

I had no idea that was bad form, so now I know, ty. (Knowing is half the battle) And yes, I was mean... Sorry fellas, ladies, I kinda got jumpy there, all apologies, and thanks for not getting mean back...
