I had noticed that you haven't been able to continue playing since Wednesday.
The same thing happened to me on last 20k Gold factory, thankfully for me it was in the first week of play, but Microgaming still took their sweet time in fixing the issue, they did the same thing of rebooting the tournament (which was never going to work as others were able to play) then on the third day they fixed the issue which was account specific.Rather ironically, I decided to try and nick a lower placing in the same Gold factory tournament with my Dash account and the same problem occurred but as it was on the last day's of the tournament I knew Microgaming wouldn't have a hope in hell of fixing it for me, even though it would have been the exact same issue.
I kind of hope yours get fixed soon, even though you will be competing with me for first place! It should be a fair fight!
Looking at the leader board yourself, Crushdown and tiptopten all have been frozen out, at worst you will be in third and that's if hellno actually plays on the last day.
This is what I think, but I just can't seem to get 32Red CS and Microgaming to grasp this
Since they have ALREADY identified the underlying issue when this happens (account specific), why the HELL are they still pissing about for 2 days out of the last three pursuing fixes that are never going to work. This has happened often enough in the past with this tournament that by now they should know what to do as soon as they are approached by a player having this problem.
I thought this was only ever happening at 32Red, but as you then had the same problem at Dash, this can't be the case.
I noticed that at least 2 others seem to be frozen out, and overall it's hardly a race to the top even in the last day, so 32Red are also losing out because having TWO key players frozen out means they must be losing THOUSANDS in revenue because continues are not being bought by others who can clearly see that key opponents seem to have stalled so see no point in doing all 999 continues.
I was told in chat that at least one other player had reported this problem, so it's being taken seriously, although at first I was being told there is nothing wrong and to try clearing my cookies and cache
Their reply from Microgaming was that they could see nothing wrong at their end, but rebooted the tournament anyway, so it's obvious they are not checking for account specific issues, which they SHOULD be given that in the past this has eventually been found to be the cause.
Microgaming must also think they are MI5, because they have NEVER given me a "debrief" explaining just what the issue was, and how and why it just keeps on occurring on a small number of specific accounts.
It does look to me as though it's a data corruption issue that causes a corrupt game state to occur such that the game will no longer load even when the initial problem is cleared. I had this with Tomb Raider II a while back, and it took Microgaming a MONTH to fix (Golden Reef, not 32Red).
I was booted mid way through a continue, hence being stuck on 9900 coins. However, this does make for a "display of prowess" to others as it seems others have often deliberately stopped mid way through a continue as a way of intimidating others (I am on a bonus round and you have no idea how much I am going to leap forward once I start up again).
I am never going to win anyway because no doubt you will keep checking every couple of hours to see if MGS have fixed my account, and I will never be able to get the jump on you for 1.5 million points in the last 12 hours or so. I would have just over 400 continues to play through within 15 hours even if they fix it at 9am as soon as the office opens - it's just not going to happen
I also can't register and play the new 20K that starts this afternoon, yet CAN (and have) register for the Gold factory one starting in 15 days.
This is not simply account specific, but game specific within the account as I can still play other tournaments.
