32red Race to Vegas - Leader £20k wagered already?

I'm playing a few slots at reasonably high stakes (£3-4.50 per spin) and have racked up a few thousand spins / few grands worth of wagering.

According to my loyalty points I have 1300 points, but upon clicking a statement I see this breaks down into 500 tier/800 bonus

Further to the Old / Expired Link, "Bonus or complimentary loyalty points will not be counted."

Is this the reason I'm not in the top 10 with 1300 points, as it is just tier point so club rouge etc doesn't make any difference?

So if just tier points the current leader Andrew H has over 2k points already, which equates to £20k+ on day 1

If that is the case, what is the point in anyone else even trying? Presumably the winner of these leaderboards always goes to a high roller if it requires £1m+ wagering in a month?

To be honest, most of these tournaments, not just at 32RED, go to the punters with the deepest pockets. We, the low - medium rollers never stand a chance.

And maybe rightly so since the high rollers spend substantially more to get to the top spot.

The only fair for all tournaments are raffles or where the counter is 1 spin = 1 point.

Ya, I avoid dep races and pay turnies - there's always someone with a bigger bankroll. Gl to those willing, but my meagre deppos don't have the snowball's chance.

I'm not against the high roller having more chance than the low roller in principle, it just seems that even wagering a few grand you'd have absolutely no chance.

Since starting this thread Andrew H is now on 3000 points, so has wagered £30k in a few hours?

Also 2nd and 3rd place are £1500/£1000 bonuses, at 30x that would be £45,000/£30,000 wagering respectively. Chances of getting a withdrawal out of that are zero to slim?

You might as well opt in. I've had a few prizes from these leaderboard races, some small, one pretty big. The big one came from a night I cashed out 8K altogether, and I snagged first prize when I spent quite a long time playing at big bets since I was doing well, and had made a cashout already. I did not meet the wagering, but it was fun to have a decent start balance.


They do pay bonus money for top 100, and this is on top of any other bonus or such you might have.

It's most often when we are lucky we get a lot of play and bets in. The prize of a trip to Vegas, I could probably purchase one for way less than I'd need to risk. But it is cheaper for me here in North America.

This one is a little different in that play across all the 32Red properties count.

I had the email notifying me of this competition too. I wouldn't call it a competition but rather he who spends most wins (read buys the top prize).

No chance that'll be me so the email didn't have the desired effect of me playing at the casino, if that was its purpose which I am sure it is.

Hotel 4stars - 50-60USD/night including breakfast.
Spending money - 1000USD
TOTAL: 1 week = Max 2000USD

Spend anything more in the tournament and you could have paid all by yourselves.

As Jasmine said, you may sometimes wager more than you realise and get a decent reward.

I just play as I was going to anyway. An extra 4.58 or 12.47 is always welcome for something I was doing anyway. The Easter promo I opted in, didn't make the minimum despite a few deposits, but luck was not with me on them either.

I can't see a downside to opting in. I can see a downside to chasing prizes.
