You're right KMAY....I had forgotten that VWM plays in Pounds. Yikes!!! I see spin amounts like that, and it's mind boggling to me, lol. But then again, it's all relative isn't it? To what you can afford, what you're comfortable with, and mostly, what your balance is.

Exactly. I would love to be able to spin at those sort of levels, just for the thought of what you could hit. But I'm logical about it. Unless by some stroke of luck I hit a huge win and could spin at that (even though, should that be the case, I'd sooner withdraw ) then I'm quite happy just low rolling.

If I'm spinning at 1 and get 100x, that's fantastic. Likewise at 20p etc. And knowing how unlucky I usually am, I could spin at 67.50 and probably not hit a darn thing

Hey Mrcj....you buyin for the buck, then just be logged into the software at the designated time. When the tourney starts, you will automatically be taken to your table. It would have been better for you if you could have familiarized yourself with the software first...but it's not that difficult. Heads up though....online poker (at least to me) is MUCH different than a live game.

I was a real life player as well....and it took me close to a year to even be able to really hold my own online. That may just be me though....I'm sure others acclimate fairly quickly.

Not any more, I came 9th, which is still very good considering that I don't know how to play poker, and I was playing at Virgin Casino and watching TV at the same time.

You do okay for someone who doesn't know how to play. The math comes in handy in figuring your outs, if you do that.

KK is out too. Spear's barely hanging in, and Bryan is rocking!! Second place at the moment, with eight left.

EDIT: Spear out (by Bryan, lol). It's okay, Bryan kicked my ass too...and KK's. And he's in first now. And he got the bounty on Pat, lol. RIGGED!!!!!

I'd just like to thank you all again for inviting me to this tournament, it was generous of you to invite people that haven't been around on Casinomeister for a while. In my defence, I'm a poker player, I'm not a casino player. Casinomeister is a great forum but I'm sure you would all admit that the poker side isn't the strongest area.

I've been a member of PuntersLounge (am I allowed to say that?) since early 2006. Every year, a few of us donate 10% of all our profits (if there are any) to charity via a freeroll for PL members (the winners select their charity and we send the winnings directly to the charity). The next time I organise one I'm going to invite you all to it.
