Hey Gang

Just wondering what everyone thinks of the free spins that you can win on the Christmas prize wheel?

It was attractive at first glance, but when I considered that SWR can give some huge payouts, it could happen that you win $500 on your free spins, and then have to wager it 30x.

I am in no way criticising 32Red ( you know I love them). Just wanting to know what the general feeling was.

I think it's a great promotion:thumbsup:
What I have learned is that I need to save them until my original deposit is gone, or I have made a cashout.
Then whatever I win from the free spins I can consider as another challenge or just playmoney if I want to.

From todays free spins I won $55. It would have been some wagering if I had won on it, but it is that on every bonus so I don't see any difference here.
I believe most people do like me anyway and just circulate the money. Cashing out and put it back in again;)

I agree I do not like an offer like that. I have always liked Clearplay with microgaming. This a reason I have mostly preferred to play with cash at 32RED. I feel if you have shown over long period that you are a loyal player to a Microgaming casino. Then Clearplay should kick in. Get a 20-100% bonus offer. And you can withdraw your cash balance any time. To be honest trough jackpot Factory group and others. I have only once withdrawn before playing through bonus. All other times I always tried making playthrough on bonuses anyway.
But it gives you some kind of safety net not sure how to express it proper :)

I like what RTG Casinos have started doing. Is when they give you free spins now. Then there is a set wagering and a max withdrawal.
I know max withdrawal is not in question here.

But to mention I have had from Intertops. Which normal are very high in their wagering demands. Normal is 65x free chips.

But in this case I received 20 free spins which had 1$ each=20$ spins.
Wagering was already set with $1200.

So basically make sure to win something nice on those free spins. If you manage to win $120 then it would only mean 10x wagering.

Maybe Microsoft casinos and like 32RED casino would be interested in trying out this form soon :)

All this is not anything bad against 32RED at all. I just don't find higher wagering attractive. That is just me as a player. I am more wanting a big hit early and able to cashout ;)

That was just my view on this Nifty.

I can't play here, but isn't this the same as a birthday chip? Instead it's a Christmas prize wheel. People in the 3Dice birthday chip thread said oh well it's free, don't look a gift horse in the mouth, etc.

I'm confused...it's ok for 3Dice to have a 30x PT on a birthday/Christmas chip but not 32red? You were ok with it in that other thread as you thanked the person who said "it's free". I'm not being an ass, I just don't understand your line of thinking here.

NEVERMIND...didn't know all information

The difference is that these free spins isn't really free. You have to make a deposit of $50 to get them.
So it's a deposit bonus. You just don't know how much it is for.

OMG!!!

Ok nevermind my previous post...I thought you just spun a wheel and got free spins.

Does the normal deposit bonus there have a 30x PT?

Since you don't seem to know the difference.....

The free SPINS at 32Red require a DEPOSIT. Hence, they are not essentially FREE. The playthrough is based on the WINNINGS and not the VALUE of the spins, and considering your winnings could be very large e.g. $500+, you would need to wager $15,000 to clear it. You would almost be praying not to win too much.

The free CHIP at 3Dice for birthday etc does NOT require a deposit. Hence, the credits ARE essentially FREE. The playthrough is based on the VALUE of the chip. Regardless of how much you win, the playthrough is the same i.e. 30xfree chip. You obviously also missed the part where silver and gold members at 3Dice have NO playthrough. You don't have to play that much to become silver+, so if you are bronze it is not unreasonabl to expect that there will be a playthrough, given that you must not play very often.

So, you now have an explanation of why I thanked the person in that other thread. Should you require further explanations of my motives for thanking particular posts, please feel free to ask. You might also like to consider, since you haven't been around very long, that when one thanks a post it doesn't mean one agrees with every single word, but rather the idea the poster is trying to get across.

Tirilej explained it to me nicely. :)

so you think its fair, play 20 free spins won $100 = wagher 1200
won $10 wager 1200
you think that is fair??

i think that in mg its more fair
if you won $500 you have a playthrough higher than if you win only $50
thats fair

Hi no of course not. It was bad example i used in regards to this. As we are talking about depost and get free spins here.
My example was just a freebie from a casino.

If that was the case and it was 20 spins worth 1$ each. Then yes I would choose pre set wager of $1200 every time.
If free spins were 20 cent each then no :p

I have tried those freebie offers from 2 places. And won around $50 each place. Reason I think it is a lot better than wagering 55 or 65x those places. But I was talking about Intertops there.

So please forget what I posted about free spins. It belongs somewhere else

But my opinion about having a Christmas Wheel and sticking 30x wagering on it. That is not something special. You are already risking your money with deposit. But on other hand it's an extra freebie so why not.

yes i got that free spins in intertops and grande vegas too
i won $10 with the 20 free spins at $1 each spin
this freebie to be good used is, 1st you play only the deposite, if you lose, you have a 2nd try to win with the 50 free spins

I think it's important to remember that there is an offer of some sort every day. I'd rather have some free spins than a chance at a draw for a TV (is there only one TV for alllllll those players?). If your budget doesn't run to playing every day, you are free to drop in and check what's on offer, and decide to wait for another offer.

But I got to play with my $50 without any restrictions, and then have a chance to win a bonus which my own deposit was not tied up with.

Honestly, if any MG casino was offering (in my case) 370X bonus with 30x playthrough on bonus only, wouldn't you be all over it? And that one would tie up your own funds as well!

Even though I busted out, I did earn some comp points with my wagering after the free spins as well, and that gave me a little more play too.

I plan on taking the spins on Deck the Halls as well when it's offered.

32RED hates me lately lol Been on a bad run for the last couple of months but hey its often how the cookie crumbles. I got 6 quid i think from the SWR free spins :( Never mind though.

I do recall however last year they had the same free spins on Deck the Halls and all 5 rows of santa came out on them :O I had something like a grands worth of wagering requirements to complete lol :p Fortunatly for me Santa popped up in my chat box and waived the wagering requirements totally for me  I was Immensely surprised but its the sort of thing you can expect from the kind elves at 32RED. I doubt no other casino would ever have done anything like that so utter kudos to them.

I'll put my head on the block and say 32Red would NEVER allow you to wager that :) lol

They are absolute CLASS! They are the ONLY Casino that offers something decent in December. If you look since last year, ONLY 32Red had promos that were wothwhile.

I Enjoy the Free spins - I look at it as a way to play my CASH and withdraw if I hit and then play the Bonus winnings.

One thing to consider is that on SWR - Normal members would get the spins at 0.30c and Club Rouge is at 0.60c

No-one in their right mind would assess 32Red as anything but absolute class ;), and their new bonuses they offered this year were a huge improvement to their once monthly`s, but, free spins as a deposit bonus should have some form of leverage as such, you are basically gambling on a deposit bonus that could result in no bonus whatsoever to one that carries a huge amount of w/r, compare that to a normal deposit bonus that carries say 50%, you know exactly what your starter balance is and the relative w/r for it.

Like I say, a free spin deposit balance could result in no bonus money at all, where is the compensation to counter balance this possible outcome?.

Actually Nate Club rouge was 0.90c :p but your absolutely spot on. I was looking carefully this year to see if any casinos could come close to 32Reds offerings. As expected nobodys come close. At least not that Im aware of.

*edit Oops just seen this had already been replied too. Ignore my ramblings :D lol

So.....

Did anyone win any of the free chips today??

I made a deposit as usual ( I cant resist that bloody wheel lol) and played for a while and yes Santa popped up in the chat box with a free 100 chip. A very nice early chrimbo pressy. For those who havent had one yet however im sure you will, plenty of time left in today and im sure the free chips promotion will show its head again sometime this month :)

I mean seriously what other casinos do this sort of thing for their customers and on such a scale too and I am by no means a large depositer.

I know whos getting my vote for number 1 casino of the year. Still.

Im up for the latest days so I'm pretty sure I wont win any prize. Random in some way, yes probably, but I dont think they give out the 250 prizes to a player depositing 10 bucks per month or to players winning much yesterday or something like that.

Still nice promos from 32red although I dont like random prize give aways at any casino. I never win when up, only when down.
