Sounds exciting:

 If you ask me

Apologies if this has been posted already.

Long over due but if true its a great move! 32red being as big as they are should have every legit supplier of games on the market!

Especially if they integrate them into the Viper client. :D

Geez, that would be fantastic --> no game errors, disconnections, flash problems etc.

And of course re-introduce 24/7 payments as they used to have in the past.

I would be then back with them for 95% of my gaming as it was from 2011-2015.

Suppose though it will be on their browser site though.

Something I mentioned a very long time ago (the idea not the article)

Basically 'they had to' IMO

Despite the 63% increase in revenue (Express and Star Newspaper last week) with all the other multi-providers out there, this was the only move, maybe its this extra revenue that's helped to make the decision to 'go for it'.

If we have the right end of the stick and this goes ahead and they run the 'new' setup as they do now (trust, promotions, reliability etc etc etc) then they would quite likely see 90+% of my gaming budget as opposed to the 40-50% they get now.

Fingers Crossed.

Edit: Hell YES Harry, all providers slots on download, smooth as silk, love my viper play!

My money would be on them dumping the Viper download altogether and going browser-based only

If they do that, I for one will find somewhere else to play MG games how they SHOULD be played...

KK

Yeah, the new browser site sort of suggests that will happen which would be a shame really.

Playing on a Viper client is by far superior to any browser based casino.

But who knows, it is all software after all, with enough resources you can implement anything and everything into the Viper client. :D

Think thats inevitable anyway a day will come when the down load clients are just a distant memory. The push is well and truly on now to have everything served remotely browser based. And with the change from flash its only going to go in one direction. The viper client is not the way forward - making the browser based experience more friendly faster and as error free as possible is the only way this can go. I think your right - that they could well dump viper in the end.

As a long-term shareholder in 32Red, I have been begging them for ages to intergrate other providers.

MicroGaming are losing their hold in Europe to NetEnt year on year so makes commericial sense now.

They'll have to speed cash-outs up, as there are already tens of multiplatform sites which pay instantly or within the day 24/7. It's all very well being in the top half of Viper sites which either pay 24 or 48, but the multiplatform market has far more competition and there would have to be reasons to choose 32red over the rest. The multiplatform players are much more discerning and you won't want to mess them about by pulling the 'pending stunt' 32red seem to rely on at present, or having weekday-only cash-outs and even then waiting a day.

You won't be getting dish of the day on WMS games, put it that way, so I am intrigued as to what 32red will be offering to stand out from the rest.:cool:

Here's hoping Harry but I fear KK will be right and viper will go :( :(

Problem also is with the mention of how MG slots 'Should be played' we in the UK will be very limited. One a vast choice of download software/casinos prior to new UKGC rules and the rats deserting the sinking ship!

32 Red Group (incl Roxy Palace) - Yes, super, smashing, great!

Betway / Spin Casino - No thank you too many heavy losses and tin foil moments. Clueless support doesn't help much either!

Lucky 24/7 - If I had just 0.10p for every email or SMS - aarrgghhh, no thank you! - Would not trust these guys with your dosh let alone mine :p

Which leaves the umpteen thousand CR download clients, great choice of casinos IF your not a low roller who relies on a bonus most deposits and got BB'ed rather too easily.

So in closing I'll simply say 'Harry, get your banner ready!'

Can only partially agree mate.

The gaming experience on the Viper client is by far, far, faaaar superior to any browser based casino, and that will not change that quickly. It might be a dinosaur in today's fast moving gaming world but I enjoy a session so much more on it.

E.g. the speed is much higher, no disconnections/errors and another multitude of issues browser based casinos are having day-in, day-out. Without DOA I would be already today 100% back at 32RED. One other reason is that Netent has yet to show me some other exciting slots aka IR, Playboy or TS2.

So here's really hoping they would keep the Viper client.

Aside from WMS I find it near impossible to win anything on any other platform other than mg will be sticking with the mg games.
Lets hope they don't retire the Viper download casino too, I for one cannot stand browser based casinos.

I would imagine they will / have done some extensive research before making any permanent decisions.

If the outcome turns out the way this thread is heading, we may get to keep the viper after all.

Have to agree with Harry, the enjoyment and game play is streets ahead on D/L.

I too only 'stray' for a few reasons, low roller friendly deposit offers, DOA, most recently a few Green Tube Games ....oh yeah and that dirty fucking RHINO!!

Could you give us a short recap perhaps?

I'm actually not a subscriber, the headline just caught my eyes.

Here's a quote from 32Red's Interim report though:

32Red is very pleased to announce today that it has agreed a new and extended contract with innovative commercial terms with digital gaming solutions partner, Microgaming. Under the new agreement, which is effective from 1 November 2016, the relationship is extended for a further five years and cements Microgaming as 32Red’s central and major technical and content supplier. The new deal also gives 32Red the flexibility to utilise alternative providers in order to enable the Company to ensure it is able to attract and retain the full spectrum of casino players to the 32Red brand.

Let's not get too much ahead of us. :D

After all the browser sit is already multi-platform with different suppliers for casino/sports betting/bingo etc., the main provider being MG though.

Despite all the problems with Viper (which MG should really address by upgrading this dinosaur from Windows 98 and XP compatibility to full Windows 10 and html5), it holds the bulk of the games locally, hence much less demand is placed on the internet connection when loading and playing the games. Browser disconnects also seem worse, and with more complex consequences, than Viper disconnects with 99.9% of the time can be recovered to the game state just prior to disconnection, with all the players' money where it should be, in the account or held in the pending bet ready for completion.

It's the MPV tournaments that let MG down, they are buggy as hell in the Viper client, and operate as though they are browser based. I often find the tournaments will disconnect whilst the Viper lobby and it's games are still working fine.

just had email from 32red saying roxy palace is their new sister site , asking me to join it for a bonus , are roxy palace a good casino?

32 Red brought out Roxy Palace a few months back.

They are 100% trustworthy and as good as 32 Red. (in fact they are exactly the same with regards to games etc)

A few differences such as layout, payout times and promotions etc but all good in my book
