Good morning all,
Apologies if this has already been discussed.

I was wondering if anyone has ever done a study to determine if it is better to take the above or just play with your own money?

I know the requirements vary for these bonuses but my gut feeling is it is better to just skip them. The one I am playing now has 25x WR and I have played a lot and still only have done 25% of the required WRs.
.

Just my opinion.... would like to hear what others point of view is on whether to take bonus or not.

In the future I think I am going to skip these bonuses and just deposit.

Please let me know your opinions. TIA

I mostly play with a bonus, it's "randomly" more fun for some reason.. I can't remember the last session that I made a withdrawal from, using just real cash

I only play with real cash on sites like William Hill, Sky Vegas and Video Slots.

If you're looking for fun, use a bonus.. If you're looking for a win, use real cash

The math is pretty clear, if you are playing with a 100% bonus with reasonable terms, you will win in the long run. If you play without the bonus you will lose instead. You do need to adjust your bets, if you have a 100% bonus you should be betting at least double what you normally do, the closer to whatever max bet the casino has the better.

I like taking a bonus when I'm looking to play a longer session or high variance slots. Personally my deposits are usually small and I don't like to do several of them on a single session either so it makes sense for me to choose bonuses if I want to play for a while without losing a lot of cash. Other times I'm happy to run and withdrawal after 1 good bonus and those times I obviously go with a cash deposit. I rarely touch high var slots without a bonus as they can so easily eat your balance without giving anything in return and that would leave me wanting to deposit and keep playing. I only take bonuses on casinos where there are decent games allowed for wagering weighted at 100% so getting a big win with wagering active has very rarely lead to losing it. This 'strategy' is basically how I try to minimise losing money and feeling bad as well as maximise potential winnings and entertainment value.

I think it comes down to personal taste and what you are looking for when you are about to start a session when deciding if you should take a bonus or not.
