It's not unusual for this to happen, rather than being sinister it's possible these are 3Dice players who have been notified/prompted via 3Dice accounts or comms which mention CM's CoTY 2025 award and bonus offer so have reappeared here to endorse their use of the promo, via their hitherto inactive accounts.

Your observations are valid, but I don't think the reasons are underhand. These accounts have been checked and pass the various security measures and none are flagged.

It's a 3Dice promo, so up to them who they accept. If it was a CM comp and people rekindled inactive accounts just to enter, they would be barred from the comp under the 'forum activity' rule.
