I haven't taken this specific bonus, but I am on a WR with a balance of £180. Using what was left of my balance from yesterday on Dynamite Joe, and a crypto-top up to take the full bonus. It was 50% up to £60 on a 5xD+B WR, so a £120 deposit gave a £60 bonus and £900 to wager from a £180 bankroll.

I shall set about it on 20p spins and report back later today/this evening/tonight/tomorrow - depending on how it goes :)

Well it only took six and a half hours, but I've hit a full screen of a weird thing for 500x.

Round finished at 557x.

I can't fail wagering now so this will be a decent result, I'll do a little write-up at that point.

So despite having done rather well on this game, and hitting the pretty decent win as shown above, I don't particularly like it. (Winning on a game and liking a game are two very different things, I won massively on The Final Countdown, but I think it's a crap slot and I basically never played it again for real money.)

First and foremost, Dreamweaver is not a slot, it's a cluster game that looks like a slot when you load it up, but it's a cluster game, and therefore everything I said about Dice Fusion and Dynamite Joe holds true for this.

The hook on Dreamweaver is a locking respin feature which is triggered by getting a special scatter on reels 1 or 6, this selects a symbol from the paytable and then you get locking respins until no further matching symbols appear.

There's also a free spins round which can be triggered by collecting normal scatters during the locking respins, this then gives you a number of free spins based on the triggering number of scatters, and in free spins every spin guarantees the locking respin special scatter landing.

There's also an upgrade mechanic which can happen when further special scatters land during the locking respins. (The paytable makes special mention of this being where the big pays will come from.)

It all works fine, it looks and sounds pleasing enough, but it's not very exciting to play, because it's a cluster game. TBH once I'd done a few hundred spins and got the measure of it, I went off and sat on the couch to play on my PS5, and just returned to my PC to kick off the next 200 spin autoplay block.

I realise it's a personal taste thing, I just can't get excited with cluster games because of how the mechanics work behind the scenes, it's not like hoping for a top-tier 5OAK to land on Arctic Adventure whilst on a big multiplier in a free spins round.

I get that fundamentally it's the same thing, and really is Dreamweaver that far removed from how the bonus round works on Enchanted Spins? I guess not in honesty, all I can say is Enchanted Spins works for me in a way Dreamweaver doesn't.

If you like this sort of thing I'm sure you'll be fine with it, it's actually one of the better cluster games I've played in fairness, the free spins round comes up regularly enough (3Dice generally work to somewhere around 1/140 to 1/180 or thereabouts), and you get the locking free spins regularly in the basegame too. Volatility wise it seems sensible enough to me, despite it being flagged as three chillies. (Then again, to this day Arctic Adventure only has two chillies, and that's a bastard lumpy game.)

Not one that'll be going on my regular play list I suspect, but it's done a sterling job this session, piling through £900 of wagering on 20p spins, and leaving not only all of my starting cash balance intact, but converting the bonus into real money and a chunk of profit on top of that too - agreeable numbers!

Anyway, after seven hours and forty minutes, with precisely 4,500 spins from a starting balance of £180, this is where I finished as I completed wagering. (A full screen of these strange little spuds is 500x.)

A full screen of the top paying symbols, (so your 'jackpot' locking respins round) comes in at 4000x
