€4.1 million Arabian Nights Jackpot won

Player from Norway/Sweden in winning massive Netent prize shocker!.....

I wonder if there's a line in the code somewhere:

IF IP ADDRESS NOT FROM AROUND HERE THEN DON'T PAY JACKPOT EVER
GOTO LOSE

Either that, or all of scandinavia is massively dumping their holiday money into the Netent slots
I think its option no.1 tho :D

It is only a couple of months since a player from Scotland won a €6.4 million jackpot on Hall of Gods.

BetVictor also had a €5.3 million winner on Mega Fortune back in May.

Not to forget the Dutch double jackpot winner over at CasinoEuro. She hit a €3.3 million Arabian Nights jackpot in May and a €3.7 million Mega Fortune jackpot in August.

I think NetEnt has included a few more countries in the code ;)

Amazing for such a young guy/girl, but betting 50kr a spin gotta have some serios bankroll never really understood why scandiavians have to bet higher on this slot as its normal "only" 5euro.

It is much simpler to balance the odds of winning the jackpot according to currency rates, i.e with current SEK euro course 50 SEK bet gives you 11.6% better odds of hitting the jackpot than 5€ bet, than fluctuate the bet size according to currency rates. Anyway December 2008, 50 NOK was 5.02€, March 2009 50 SEK was 4.27€, so Swedes haven't had always bet higher on this slot than the Eurozone residents.

2012 geographic regions' share of Betsson's profits from business-to-consumer related activities (includes casino, poker, sportsbook, etc, everything except profits from licensing stuff to other casinos)

81.5% Nordic Countries
16.9% EU, outside of Nordic Region
0.5% Rest of Europe
1.2% Rest of the World

So the pattern of most of Netent jackpots going to Nordic Countries, and occasionally to EU countries outside of Nordic Region, usually Great Britain or Netherlands, and never to any country outside of EU+Norway, that pattern is pretty logical considering these numbers.
