OK, since we had such fun with Lotusch's last year, I have got the go-ahead for a CM image quiz! I have chosen images as it gives players from ALL countries an equal chance, good English not necessary, so that means Australians can enter too!

Simply there will be 10 images each week for 4 weeks taken from slot symbols across all software brands, for example one might be Odin's monocle from ThunderstruckII or Cleopatra's green eyes from the wild of that slot:

Z1.GIF Z2.GIF

They won't be ridiculous i.e. one vague gold square that could be from just about anything; the image can only match a specific symbol from a specific game.

The quiz will go up this weekend, and your submission of 10 answers needs to be in by midnight GMT (via PM to myself) of the following Friday. So, that will be midnight Friday 6th. March, 13th, 20th. and 27th. respectively. The following Saturday/Sunday from each of those dates, the leaderboard will be published!

Each week the images will get harder, and don't worry if you can't solve them all as you will likely not be alone! You could win with 2 or 3 correct in any week, as the name suggests! Simmo has kindly let me use his Toolbar facility for the purposes of this quiz, as ALL the answers/images can be found in his database somewhere. This will save typing repeatedly hopeful requests into Google images which doesn't have all of them anyway. I'd suggest adding this to 'favourites bar' in your browser by opening this page and following the instructions:

You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.

If you click on the thumbnail of any game, it will expand so you can see if your idea is correct and use your 'zoom' facility if necessary.

The Prizes!

As this is an international quiz, I am demonstrating prize VALUES here! Please read the terms below (4) for payment.

1st. = £100
+ £250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of GUTS Casino
+ $200 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Bet-at/Slotty Vegas
+ $250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of 32Red
+ €250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Tivoli!
+ £250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Andy B @ Mr Green
+ £250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Videoslots!
+ €250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Eric @ Thrills
+ €250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Refilliates Casinos
+ £250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Erik @ CasinoLuck/NextCasino

2nd. = £75

+ $250 to a charity of your choice courtesy of Karolina @ Clubworld!

3rd. = £50
4th. = £25

To the reps: If there are any charity amounts you can sponsor to correspond with the 4 prize-winning places, feel free and I will add them to the prize list. This would be on the basis the prize winner would nominate a charity and the sponsoring casino pay the nominated cause. Thanks.

P.S. I will add charity amounts as they come in - these will accumulate for the winner to nominate to a cause. The charity amount will also follow the winner as decided by any tie at the end, as per the terms.

The Pesky T&Cs.

1. Only members with at least 20 posts and 2 months' standing can enter - ONCE! If I suspect multiple entries you will be handed on a plate to Bryan for painful humiliation.

2. Your submission of your 10 answers each week is FINAL and no amendments can be made.

3. Collusion? Well I can't stop you but it's not in the spirit of the quiz and you could cheat yourself out of prize awards.

4. IMPORTANT - PRIZES AND PAYMENT THEREOF:
The onus is on YOU to provide a workable vehicle for any prize award to be paid. These prizes are E-PRIZES ONLY! A Paypal account is best, as no borders and you can be paid in cash in your currency equivalent minus a small commission. US and UK players can have Amazon e-vouchers commission-free, but unfortunately not other countries as this breaches Amazon's terms. A UK player could have a free BACs transfer. A SWIFT or IBAN transaction from Sterling could be done but would cost you much of the prize. So enter only if you can be paid online and cheaply with little hassle to myself!

5. Ties: In the event of a tie say for first and second, a simple draw from the hat of names will be made by my daughter the day the quiz has closed to decide the outcome. This will apply to all ties, in whichever positions. First out is highest prize. If 2 people tied say for fourth, the first out gets the £25 nothing for the other. You get the picture.

Good Luck!

OK, here are the first 10 snips from online slot images:

The answers to be PM'd to me by Midnight GMT Friday 6th. March 2015

Simply number the answers the same as the images, i.e. 1-10. I only need the slot name, not the software.

No amendments, be sure of your answers before PM'ing them, they will be final when I receive your first PM.

The images may go to two posts due to restrictions on amount of images in one post.

I will post the leader board the following weekend after Friday 6th March.

In the event of any idiots appearing here or trolls posting answers in public, I will have Admin boot them and re-post the 10 questions. Never happened last year so let's hope that spirit carries over to 2015!

Have fun!

Midnight? What time zone? :D

GMT - The French have always resented the Brits centring world time through the Greenwich Meridian, so that suits me fine!
Amended. Glad you set an example to all by reading the T&C's thoroughly!

I thought casinos had bad terms, You ment to be Unofficial T&C's Editor :)

Not so easy but I let you of, I really could not under stand the rules but that's my fault and not yours

Easy mate, I'd love u to enter. All you need is 2 months here+ and 20+ posts (you have! so ignore that) and a way you can be paid a prize online. As you're UK you could be paid by Paypal, if not BACs transfer to your current account or an online Amazon voucher so you're OK. Just when you PM your 10 answers it must be your final answers for the week, need to be in my midnight a week tomorrow (6th March Friday. I'll get the first questions up tonight to make the first week a couple of days longer to get more people into it.

Great idea - I can't wait!
(Have played a slot or two in my time, so I quite fancy my chances )

As a matter of interest, who is funding the prizes?

Cheers,
KK

Slotscomparer. I just do the toil and labour...:D

I've got the first 10 prepared and they'll be up within the hour. Luckily for you all I've made them easy for the first week. :)

Really nice idea and a great 2nd year to Lotusch's great quiz last year.

I will put in £250, thats right Great British Pounds to the overall winners "official" charity of their choice.

There are a lot of casinos accredited here so lets see some others chip in here (amount is not important) and see what we can raise for what I am sure is a great charity.

Andy, just stay home from the local tonight and you can probably double what I put in :p.

Never done anything like this before...

So is it just a case of wait for the post with questions and PM answers to your good self please?

Indeed it is, they will be up soon and all will be explained. Good Luck.

Thanks very much Ben! You're the first to offer and it's much appreciated. If we raise as much as Lotusch last year then I'm chuffed! So, we have you as sponsoring the winner's choice of charity.

JUST A NOTE - I have not PM'd any reps asking for charity offers - this could lead to embarrassment as some may have more facility to do what Ben has than others, and the others therefore may be left feeling they want to sponsor but can't due to restrictions of their position.

It has simply been left so a rep can read the quiz, and if appropriate may offer a donation. There is NO expectation; anything is welcome!

UPDATE
I will add charity amounts as they come in - these will accumulate for the winner to nominate to a cause. The charity amount will also follow the winner as decided by any tie at the end, as per the terms.
I cannot edit the OP so will keep posting any updates as to the charity amount the winner accumulates.

I will add charity options as they come in - this may or may not mean the quiz winners' charity amounts are commensurate with their position, for example you may get 3rd. place but have a larger charity amount than second place (but of course you get less cash than second!)

Your welcome mate, anything for a good cause.

I don't really want to be seen as sponsoring the Winners Choice of Charity, I kind of see this as a cool thing and hope that other casinos join in so we can pool the funds together and hand over a nice wedge to the charity of choice from the grand winner.

That's a much easier and less complicated way of doing it - I can't amend the OP but to make it clear to any donors:
Thanks Ben

Sounds like great fun, and to help generate some interest and enticement and support what's sure to be some fantastic and worthwhile charities, on behalf of BETAT Casino and Slotty Vegas, we'd like to offer an additional $200 to the 1st place pot!

We'll donate $200 to the 1st place winner's official charity in their name. Good luck and look forward to following along.

Awesome contest - thanks guys!

One of the reasons we are using SlotsCompare is because there are screenshots of every online slot game located there:

People from the States cannot access some casinos that are based in Europe, some people in Europe can't access casinos based elsewhere. So this gives everyone an opportunity to win.

Right on!

Many thanks Bet-at and Slotty Vegas!

That's over £400 UKP now or equivalent the winner can nominate to charity - I had that honour last year and it was a memorable event, still have the receipt!

Much appreciated.:notworthy

Yes, thanks for that Bryan. I sourced all the quiz from there as it's the only one-stop source available, not IP-restricted so as you say all CM members/entrants have an equal chance of finding the correct answers. Just getting some of those images was hard from the UK, having to spoof my IP via a proxy just to open certain games in fun-mode for the purpose of taking a screenie.

And no , I won't hand-deliver the prize to Hastings if you win KK :p
I hope not - I don't live in Hastings!

Actually I have NEVER lived in Hastings, but in 7 different addresses in 40 years all in St Leonards-on-sea which is conjoined to it - but I always said Hastings as people are much more likely to know where that is!
Then 2 years ago we moved all of a mile-and-a-half to Bexhill-on-sea.
Still only about 30 miles from you - so get on yer bike! :p

@ Dunover: Saw the first picture and thought "this is going to be a breeze!"... then I saw the other 9
I thought you said it was going to be easy!

Many thanks to you for setting this up, Simmo for his invaluable input and of course, the casinos for putting up the cash! :notworthy
