CloudBet Casino is one of the longest-running Bitcoin casinos, launching back in 2013 – just a few years after Bitcoin started to creep onto the mainstream.
Unfortunately, that is about the only thing positive that can be said about them. We posted warnings about this casino in February 2021 about unclear confiscations of winnings, and I was considering a Not Recommended status at Casinomeister – but due to a recent complaint submitted to us, and the shoddy licensing and oversight that this casino has, I deem them “Rogue”.
A challenge to the casino personnel – change my mind.

No proper licensing agency would allow this sort of hap-hazard activity – but they are licensed at the worst licensing agency on the planet: Curacao 1668/JAZ
First Impression
Our first impression of CloudBet Casino was pretty positive – until we looked under the hood and considered player issues that we have dealt with in the past.

While our team was writing this review, CloudBet showed us they offer a selection of promotions and bonuses – and their welcome bonus is OK. But won’t matter much if payments are going to be an issue.
Welcome Bonus
The way the welcome bonus at CloudBet Casino works is quite strange; it’s a first deposit bonus, of sorts, so you get a 100% matched deposit bonus up to 5 BTC.
However, unlike the welcome bonus offers we see at most online casinos, CloudBet Casino releases your bonus funds 0.01 BTC at a time. Each time you earn 800 points (points are earned by playing games and wagering real money), 0.01 BTC is released.
The benefit of this bonus is that you complete the wagering requirements before any bonus money is unlocked. So, each time 0.01 BTC is credited to your account, it’s not bonus funds – so you can do whatever you want with it, including withdrawing it, if you like.
This structure also means the bonus funds can be used on casino table games and live casino games.
No-Deposit & Free Spins Offers
At the time of writing, CloudBet Casino doesn’t offer any free spins promotions for new players, nor do they have any no-deposit bonuses. We’ll update this review to reflect any changes if and when the casino implements them.

CloudBet Casino’s loyalty points system is ok, and it’s one of the reasons why so many players continue to get sucked into the site. Every time you make a real-money wager at the casino – including both video slots and table games – you’ll earn loyalty points. Woo woo.
Once you’ve accumulated enough of these loyalty points you’ll be able to exchange them for wager-free cash, bonus tickets, free spins, high-value free spins or more – but it’s all vapid meanderings if they won’t payout in the end.
BANKING AND PAYMENT METHODS
In the past, CloudBet Casino only accepted Bitcoin as a payment method; now, you can deposit and play using Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash.
Deposits are credited to your account immediately, and the site does not charge any fees on deposits. Unfortunately, at the time of writing, non-crypto fiat payment methods aren’t available, so you won’t be able to use debit and credit cards.
Withdrawal Speed
CloudBet Casino offers super-fast withdrawals – usually, they’re instant – and this means you can withdraw your winnings at any time. They also don’t charge any fees, aside from the one needed to cover the Blockchain transaction – and this is excellent news for players, as it means you can withdraw your money without worrying about paying fees or charges!

Responsible Gaming
CloudBet Casino claims to be dedicated to ensuring that its players remain safe from their own bad habits.

Complaints and Track Record
One of the reasons they are in the Rogue Pit is that they stalled payments, closed player accounts and confiscated player winnings without justification.
Further – we have another complaint about an Australian player who felt targeted when they contacted him via email. From the player:
“When I say targeted, I mean they sent me emails telling me to “join the club” and that they were “serving Australians since 2013. Their website homepage states “Australia’s best Bitcoin sports betting” when accessed by an Australian IP through search engines. They’ve been banned since July 2022 and notified by the Australian government and the ACMA.”
It’s a horrifying case when this person claims to be a problem gambler and is registered as such by the ACMA. And we are not talking about chump change here. This players’ deposits should have been refunded (as what would have happened via the MGA, or UKGC), but this casino operates without oversight.
