SilverSands Deluxe Review

Modern South African casino with 250+ games and no payout cap

Casinomeister’s Verdict

SilverSands Deluxe grew out of the long-running SilverSands Poker platform, with its casino section receiving a much-needed refresh around 2025. The upgrade is easy to spot: the lobby is cleaner, more mobile-friendly, and features 250+ games from five providers. Banking is one of the better parts of the site, with cards, EFT and 10 cryptocurrencies available. Support also told me there’s no maximum withdrawal limit on winnings from your own money, which is unusually generous.

Still, the “Deluxe” label only goes so far. There’s no live casino, the game library is fairly small and you won’t find a traditional VIP programme.

Overall, SilverSands Deluxe is a clear improvement on the previous casino setup, but hardly a dramatic reinvention. It should suit South African players who want a simple casino with plenty of crypto options. If you’re comparing the best casinos online and prefer live dealers, thousands of games, or stronger licensing, look elsewhere. If you’ve tried SilverSands Deluxe, share your experience on our forums.

From the Desk of Max Drayman

I’d recently written of the apparent relaunch of one of the golden oldie casinos, SilverSandsCasino, and here we’re giving a few words on what is apparently going to be a sister casino for the South African market. The same basic features apply here which should probably come as no great surprise: Anjouan licensing, which is a wait-and-see proposition since they’re largely unproven (to date). For Self-exclusion the Terms say “refer to the Responsible Gambling (RG) page for more information.” On that RG page you will find no mention whatsoever of Self-exclusion. And as far as Disputes or Complaints are concerned there is nothing at all on the site. The end result is the same conclusion here as what was said in the sister site comments: it looks like the site is a work in progress and thus we’d have to say it is too early to take the casino for spin. We’ll revisit some time in the future to see how things have improved.

Pros

  • Pros Low 15x deposit + bonus wagering
  • Pros Cards, EFT and 10 cryptocurrencies
  • Pros Fast 24/7 live chat

Cons

  • Cons No live casino
  • Cons Only five game providers

SilverSands Deluxe Bonuses and Promotions

The public promotions page at SilverSands Deluxe is a bit disappointing, with just a sign-up bonus and a crypto deposit promotion. There’s also a refer-a-friend offer tucked away inside the cashier that you can only access with an account. I’d have liked to see a few free spins bonuses thrown in or, even better, a no-deposit bonus.

Any offer worth more than 20% comes with 15x wagering on the deposit and bonus. That’s fairly reasonable, although it’s worth remembering that both amounts count. Deposit bonuses start from R50, and you can’t claim another promotion until you’ve cleared the current one or your bonus balance reaches zero.

The terms are less helpful when it comes to game restrictions, wagering contributions, and eligible slot RTPs. None are clearly explained, leaving a few important blanks to fill in before claiming anything.

VIP and Loyalty Programs

SilverSands Deluxe doesn’t have a VIP or loyalty programme with levels, points or published rewards. The promotion terms and conditions mention “VIP Appreciation Bonuses” but these are handed out at “management’s discretion”. They come with 1x wagering and a maximum cashout of 10x the bonus. Decent terms, but without a clear route to earning one, it’s more of a surprise perk than a loyalty programme.

SilverSands Deluxe Payment Options and Withdrawal Speed

Depositing is where the cashier looks strongest. South African players get familiar card and EFT options, while the 10-currency crypto line-up adds more variety. Instant EFT deposits range from R50 to R25,000, although there are no e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill or Payz.

Compared with other bank transfer casinos, the R100 minimum and R100,000 daily limit are decent. The limited choice of withdrawal methods and lengthy payout times are less impressive. Requests can remain pending for up to 48 hours before bank processing begins, and the funds may then take another 1 to 3 business days to arrive. Plenty can leave the casino at once, it just won’t necessarily leave quickly.

Withdrawals are less flexible, with bank transfer the only confirmed method. Still, SilverSands Deluxe has one notable advantage over many bank transfer casinos. I checked with support and was told there’s no maximum withdrawal limit when your winnings come from deposited funds. That’s unusually generous, although separate cash-out rules may apply when a bonus is involved.

As with any South African-facing casino, you’ll need to complete KYC before withdrawing. SilverSands Deluxe doesn’t publish a clear list of documents, so I suggest getting verification sorted early rather than deal with it after a win.

SilverSands Deluxe Casino Games

SilverSands Deluxe Casino Game Providers

SilverSands Deluxe offers 250+ games from five providers: RealTime Gaming (RTG), Swintt, SpinLogic Gaming, TopTrend Gaming, and GMW. That’s more variety than the original SilverSands Casino, but RTG still dominates the library.

The casino doesn’t label its providers or let you filter games by studio, though, which makes the selection less transparent than it should be.

SilverSands Deluxe Slots

Most of the library consists of slots, with video poker, RNG table games, and a few specialty titles filling the gaps. The lobby includes New and Popular sections, so finding recent additions or commonly played games is easy enough.

There’s no published release schedule, making it difficult to tell how often the New section actually changes. RTP figures also aren’t displayed on the game tiles, so you’ll need to open the individual game information where available.

Live Casino

SilverSands Deluxe doesn’t have a live casino. The table games section includes blackjack, roulette, and RNG poker titles, but they’re all computer-generated. There are no real dealers, live tables, or game shows.

That leaves a fairly respectable slots lobby, but anyone looking for live blackjack or roulette will need to play elsewhere. The “Deluxe” upgrade only stretches so far.

SilverSands Deluxe Casino Experience and Features

SilverSands Deluxe goes for the expected black-and-gold casino look, but it’s cleaner and far easier to use than the previous SilverSands Poker casino setup. There’s also a light-mode switch if the dark theme starts feeling a bit too deluxe.

The lobby is neatly organised, with separate filters for new games, popular titles, slots, three-reel slots, video poker, table games, and speciality games. There’s a casino games search bar, but no provider filter. That’s an odd feature to leave out when the casino doesn’t label the studios behind its games. A My Favorites section also appears once you’re signed in, so regular picks are easy to find again.

The main menu includes a Poker link, but it takes you to SilverSands Poker’s separate platform rather than a poker room within the Deluxe casino. You can also play through its downloadable poker software.

There’s no dedicated mobile app, but the browser version adapts well to smaller screens. Game tiles are clear and it’s easy to use the cashier from your phone for both deposits and withdrawals.

Overall, the interface is modern and easy to navigate.

Responsible Gambling

SilverSands Deluxe mentions deposit limits, session reminders and self-exclusion, but doesn’t explain how to activate them. It’s also unclear whether these controls are self-service or handled through support.

There are no stated loss, wagering or fixed session limits, and no self-assessment test. The page does link to several problem-gambling organisations, including the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation.

The basics are covered, but the tools need clearer instructions and easier access.

About the SilverSands Deluxe Casino Team and History

SilverSands Deluxe isn’t a completely new online casino. It started as the casino section of SilverSands Poker, a site Paxson Marketing has run for years. Around 2025, that side of the business got a new look and a new name: SilverSands Deluxe. Poker is still available through its downloadable software and separate browser site.

Paxson also runs SilverSands Casino, Apollo Slots, Jackpot Cash and White Lotus. The group is licensed in Anjouan, which doesn’t offer the same level of player protection as Malta or the UK.

I found no public fines or regulatory action against Paxson. Still, the Deluxe name has only been around for roughly a year, so there isn’t much history to judge yet.

Complaints and Track Record

I found no Casinomeister Player Arbitration cases or forum complaints filed specifically against SilverSands Deluxe or SilverSands Poker. The other complaints services I checked were similarly quiet.

Paxson Marketing has no public regulatory fines or penalties on record. Its original SilverSands Casino has attracted some older criticism, but those complaints shouldn’t automatically be pinned on SilverSands Deluxe.

Player Comments on SilverSands Deluxe

There aren’t any comments about SilverSands Deluxe or SilverSands Poker on our Casinomeister forum. That’s generally a good sign, although it also means there isn’t enough player feedback to draw any real conclusions.

The older comments I found relate to the separate SilverSands Casino, so I won’t pin those on Deluxe.

Customer Support at SilverSands Deluxe

As with all my online gambling reviews, I tested SilverSands Deluxe’s live chat rather than taking its 24/7 claim at face value. I reached an agent almost immediately, and the replies came through quickly.

In addition to 24/7 live chat, there is email support and a toll-free South African number, 0800 011 055. There’s also a basic FAQ covering accounts, payments, withdrawals, bonuses, and technical problems.
