Ok thought this might be interesting. Plenty of threads about "best slots" - what are you WORST slots of the past few years?

In terms of payouts, presentation, innovation and anything else!

Reading the recent Bengal Tiger thread and a lot of people are caling that one of the worst releases of the year so far! so was interested to hear anymore?

I think the microgaming hiphopapotamus is the worst I ever saw, played it once and got so bored with it i even tried to 'force' it and so it kept forcing 3 cherries on me lol........

The MG slot The Argyle Open had me alternating between wanting to kill myself and wanting to set fire to my PC. *

In the end I did neither and went back to 3Dice/Jackpot Party :D

* Put over 16,000 spins through the bastard thing over the course of a few days, one of the dreariest extended gambling experiences of my life.

I think my least favorite is Ching Ching - it always seems to halve my Free Spin total. I like the graphics on it, though, and also, in the same way ISS multiplayer retains your spice if you leave the game before a bonus round, your puzzle pieces are kept until you finish the puzzle completely, even if you leave it. If I am on a hot run and want to kind of 'save' some of it for a later time, I'll play Ching Ching trying to get the pieces, so that I can come back and play it at 3 lines, 1 cent per line to complete the puzzle and trigger a decent win.

Sorry, but 3Dice is just pretty solid. :D

Nearly all the 40 line MG slots are big brown turds:
Argyle Open,Boogie Monsters,Dolphin Tale,Dragon Lady,Karate Pig,Prime Property,Pure Platinum.Tigers eye is the best of a bad bunch.

Also I dont like Hitman, 18 free "normal" spins is not a bonus IMO ! and any slot with a random free spins bonus annoys me also,I like to see my bonus symbols.

Playtech offers 2 duds Easter and Santas Surprise both the same engine with a pick bonus that pays "wallies".

Any slot that has a compulsory side bet in order to get the feature after a set number of spins. In the RTG slot Bulls & Bears for example, they charge you an extra 50 cents for each spin no matter how many lines you choose. Complete garbage. Sure you get free spins for sure after 100 spins but you have already paid an extra 50 dollars for this privilege. Terrible slot. There are others like this. Stay away

Also I hate slots that force you to play all the lines like 243 line slots. I never play all lines and would like the choice on number of lines

My personal 'worst slot ever' is Mad Hatters. (Microgaming)

I truly hate that game.
Its too slow, looks awful, stupid sounds and music, has one of those useless bonusrounds that never pay anything worth mentioning, and in free spins you have to pick one of the dudes to be extra wild.
Guess which one starts hitting?
Yep, ofcourse the one you didn't pick.

Too damn frustrating.

NetEnt has a slot thats based on MG's BDBA.
The Reel Steel I think its called.

How they managed to turn the concept of Break da Bank Again into such an utterly boring and frustrating experience is a complete and total mystery to me.
The person who thought it would be cool to trigger a police sirene everytime 2 scatters hit (WHHEEEEEE!!:eek2:) should be instantly fired.

I thought you loved to play all your games on the highest volume, just to make the neighbours crazy. That game seems to be the best one for that:D

What you wrote reminded me of one of Rivals games. Don't remember the name, but every time this guy hits the first two wheels, he is coming out walking around the screen so you can't see anything of the next few spins. That is so annoying:eek:

Hitman free spins have a 2x multiplier but really, that game is all about the expanding wilds and Calculator bonus. Agree with you on the 40-line slots in general with the exception of Dolphin Tale which is decent 'cos of the big multipliers and also agree with the Playtech duds. :)

Boring slots on my list: Loaded and Hipopotamus (MG), Fixer Upper and Heavyweight gold (Rival), Bonus Bears (Playtech) Wooden Boy and London Inspector (RTG). Thank god there are lots of much more interesting and entertaining ones available.

Cheers

Actually, this is a pretty tough question as I obvioulsy don't play the boring ones more than once so remembering which they are is hard LOL.

One thing that does bug me - and IGT's new Diamond Queen is a good example - is a slot where you can't spin quickly, ie: skip the animations or count ups. That makes a slot boring!

My mistake,Hitman does have a 2xmult didnt realise that as free spins always pays pathetic and I dont think it displays the multiplier during the spins.
I agree also that the Dolphin Tale bonus can pay excellent but my last few sessions on that game have always been over 300 spins no bonus and biggest win was 4xbet, the paytable is really poor to compensate for the big multipliers in FS.

The MG power spin slots(7,8,9) I would add them to my avoid list also,so so boring.
Also Johnny Spector! what were you thinking MG?

......or arrested :D

I agree with playtechs bonus bores (bears). Awful. Another one from PT that I hate but some love is desert treasure....the pick feature is pathetic. I thought the sequel might have brought some improvement, but instead they created an extra level of crap wins that seldom make 10xbet.

Maybe we should include worst feature games as well? Some games are actually good apart from some afterthought pick feature they throw in so they can advertise "2 amazing features!!" E.g. dino might MGS, mummy feature PT, (S)Hitman MGS.

Afaik, any feature that makes you groan when you hit it is poor design and ruins a slot.

I actually think the worst slots, from a disappointment point of view, are intercasinos 50line batman/wonder woman/green lantern. Paying extra for an extra feature just plain sucks IMO.

Since I hit the Big win at Jackpotcity last Christmas .... ALL my normal MG slots have been utter crap to me. Like BDBA, ISIS, TSII, Cashapillar, Dolphin Coast, IR, ... And trust me I KNOW these are great machines. Just stating the facts for ME not complaining.

To the OP ... Good question ... But I think it is a bit of a contradiction in itself ... When a machine is bad for one ...it normally means its great for someone else ... So we can't really make a list of worst slots or best slots... It's a matter of who plays it ... If you know what I mean :)

Back in the day when Americans could play MG, I LOVED Mad Hatters! Seriously, I won a ton on that game - and consistently too! I admit, I did have to turn the volume off completely while playing, lol, but it was by far my favorite game. In fact, I loved it so much, I think about it and hope that it's still around whenever MG starts to accept US players again.

To each their own I guess :)

There are just as many awful ones as good ones - so it's difficult to even start listing them.

But I came across a new software the other day which looks like it wants to be a serious contender for this category; they have a range of slots which are incredibly low variance, and they have bonus features where the absolute maximum you can win is only 1.5 or 2 times your total bet! *
(* per triggering line; You could have up to 3 triggering lines - so your max win could soar to x6!)

Not all slots players will have got an opportunity to play Deal or No Deal slots, but don't worry you are not missing much. The only plausible reason any genuine slot player would bother to play these slots is to try and win the jackpot, otherwise they are a waste of time IMO. They are very much aimed at the amateur player who is obsessed with the show.

This is my least favorite slot ever. Played it many times a while ago in the brick and mortar casinos and never ever got the bonus. I havent touched this slot in well over a year. I can see the good potential in it but if the bonus is that hard to trigger whats the fun in playing.

I consider the worst slot any slot which is slow and boring, so I tend to avoid them....

one playtech slot that I tend to avoid like the plague is daredevil, never have hit free spins on this game so I just don't play it.

Any new slots that come out, I always play on demo, to get the feel for the game, if I don't feel good playing it, then I won't try it out for real.

I mostly agree what everyone has posted in being the worst slots, except for madhatters being the worst, I quite enjoy this game, though I don't like music so I kill the sound :) though it has been a long time from I've played it, must play it later in the week :p

The RTG Three Stooges 3-reel gets my vote. You can't skip the 3 stooges movie clips plus they never vary, so if you hit three Larry's or whatever a couple of times, you have to watch the same clip again. I've had a few decent hits on it, but just can't stand the pace of the bonus round shit - either the movie clips or the dice roll thing.
