WMS/SG Gaming - New UK Land Based Casino Games - RTP disaster

So I popped into my local brick 'n' mortar yesterday, to try out the new SG "Jackpot Party" themed progressive slots.

This is a "potentially" exciting compilation of WMS and SG titles such as Giant's Gold, Spartacus, Black Knight with £10,000 jackpots and an up to £20,000 linked progressive jackpot. Also containing some existing Arcade/Bookie slots on £500 jackpots such as Raging Rhino.

This is a Genting casino with a fixed 94% RTP across every single Casino slot game in the place up to now, be they Novomatic, IGT, Ainsworth etc.

So far so good, but after a bit of a battering on minimum stake I decide to take a look at the RTP info for these new terminals. Disappointingly the £500 slots have seen no RTP upgrade for the Casino environment, with RTP as low as 89% depending on stake. The worst part, though, is the Jackpot Party progressive titles which have been wheeled out on a despicable 90% RTP across all stakes, including progressive contributions!

I'm not sure whether the Casino would have had any input into the RTP setting, or whether they are fixed at the factory, but my advice would be to avoid these games and play the alternative providers on offer. 90% with progressives and a large jackpot isn't working at all, in my opinion. Maybe someone else can chime in on whether they are set so low in other UK casinos, e.g. Aspers?

Yeah I have noticed these have popped up at my regular casino. I always used to have a bit of a dabble on the slots after poker but since I started playing online I very rarely bother now. You only have to compare sessions to see where the better value is.

So I can play these at my local B&M casino at 90% or play them, along with a bucket load others, at 95% plus online. Mmm, I wonder what one I’ll choose. Shouldn’t need a lack of a ? on my second sentence to let you know it was a rhetorical question.

I always think of it this way. Online I have completed wagering of x 30 to 40 many times with a 100% bonus. Take the same scenario in a land based casino and I think you would be extremely lucky to achieve it.
