How about asking him what this means on logoncasino's "About Us" page:
At Logoncasino we stand by our bonuses, we stand by our promotions, we stand by our customers, and we stand by our legally licensed and fully insured software, RTG (Real Time Gaming), where you will be able to play blah blah blah...
What exactly do they mean by legally licensed? Fully insured? I think most old-timers know this is just a bullshit ad copy template passed around by many older RTG sites.
All accounts are 100% insured and all games are independently tested by Safebet for accuracy and fairness.
Like I have mentioned before many many times, any casino website that still refers itself to a "Safebet" approved site should be avoided like the mad cow disease.
#1 reason: Safebet was always a "fake" watchdog organization set up by the software company to give their licensees credence.
#2 reason: The casinos that posted this logo were knowingly aware that this was a ruse to trick the players into thinking that there was something "safe" about the casino.
#3 reason: Safebet was ineffective in solving most ANY player problem.
#4 reason: RTG let the domain name ownership lapse sometime last year (purposely), and it was picked up by a webmaster you runs a forum from there. I guess he hopes to pick up on the traffic that still trickles in from some of these RTG sites. Any casino that still refers to this is a) too damn lazy to remove the deceptive statements or b) hopes that the "Safebet" statements add credence to their operation.
Lanidar, I'm starting to wonder if you are getting a bit senile or if someone has highjacked your user name. As a semi-long time poster here, I'd think by now you would know how to choose an online casino.
Always read their ad copy - especially the older RTG sites - many of which use deceptive language in their "About Us" pages, etc. If they are too lazy to update their websites, or don't care that they are deceiving their visitors, then alarm bells should be sounding off in your head!
Really now, be real.
