I have just played Wild Hammer Megaways. I just thought I would do a few hundred spins or less to check out how the bonus feature works then move on. 800 spins later I have not hit one bonus round with £100 gone on minimal stakes. This is after having months of losses- which I except in itself- but I did expect some gameplay at least for my wagering.
Has anyone else played this slot and if so how did you find it?
I am about to deposit another £50 to see if I can get some redemption.
Update. After another tenner I hit the bonus and won £2,52

Sounds just like most of the crap that’s out there nowadays. Definitely not player friendly any longer. Got some absolute dirge from Deadwood, I will post soon, something like 9 out of 10 bonuses paid x20 or less. Stuff HV slots, it’s a Casinos paradise nowadays.

I played power of Thor Megaways recently. Started on 20p, nothing for about 4-500 spins. Upped to 40p again nothing then up to 60p. Eventually after nearly 4hrs the feature finally dropped. Obv no way was I gonna gamble and risk losing. Collected the spins and got 20x

Gave it one more tease and left over £400 down.

On tilt I moved on to bonanza which took 3 hrs and £300 to bonus and paid 8x

Safe to say a £750 loss for just 2 features on shitty stakes left a very sour taste in my mouth.

I appreciate the Thor didn’t have the extra feature chance setting and was on the 94.5% setting but still it was awful.

The pragmatic Megaways games are very robotic as well with how they play. Scatters are pretty much non existent on normal spins. Which makes it even more tilting when it does the 3 scatters and doesn’t land for 4 hrs straight.

Ill give some recommendation for you guys complaining about not being able to hit high volatility games at 20c... try a slightly higher bet size.. even 40c for a bit and then switch back to 20c if you really want to.

When playing only at the same stake games tend to go into cant win a cent mode till you mix it up a little bit.

You need to show the RNG that you actually have some balls every now and again otherwise it will keep punishing you the way you are observing.

I can almost guarantee that if its not used to you ever raising the bet and showing confidence that it will give you a huge payout to try lure you into always playing a higher bet size. We all think were are trying to figure out the pattern n the game but its the complete opposite, its always figuring you out.

Played Lil Devil to the top yet again, cost £150 @ 30p, during the build up got just 1 20x feature and the heartstopper feature paid
a massive 6x, never learn.
Finding it hard to find anthing that gives decent gamplay now, all the new releases are dire, sounds like this Hammer thing is just
another high vol heap of crap that never delivers

Pragmatics I find very stiff and unyielding to play, I believe they are fully scripted, like Blueprint, rather than relying on randomized reel strips. Power Of Thor is double jeopardy because you have to firstly hope to land the bonus, and secondly land Thor's hammer in a decent position within that bonus. The amount of bonuses I've had with no hammer appearance is considerable.

They will hold back forever and a day in normal play, until some lucky bugger finally gets the "I'm going to give you a jackpot" nutso bonus where it's bonkers spin after spin e.g. Madame Destiny Megaways.

For capped slots I would have expected a bit more, especially on the default RTP, but there you go.

The older titles are no better as so many appear to have been "upgraded" beneath the surface. For example, original Gonzo's Quest and CFTBL are pure filth now.
