Wild Carnival - New Rival Slot

Hey Guys,

i've tried Slots Capital again today and found a new Rival Slot Wild Carnival.

I tried it, and i really like it... Expanding Wilds etc. everything there

There are 3 bonus features...

- Collect "Beadis", when you have collected 12 you get money... I got 20x the bet...
- Free Spins (3 Scatters = 5 spins x3)
- Picking Bonus (paid for me 45x the bet)

I will continue to try this slot and see how it goes What i also like is that for this one (like for most new Rival Slots) when you have 2 Scatters, the wheels start to spin longer for more suspense

I have to say...and this is a general impression only....that it has been harder to get a decent win at Rival in the past 1-2 years. It may well be just bad luck, but it has certainly forced me to spend far less there than I used to.

Bug in game when using the Max Bet Button.

I have only played this game for fun at Domgame, so am not sure if this error shows for real.

If using the max bet button, when a bead bonus is gained, continuing to play directly afterwards by pressing the max bet button gives an "ACCUMULATION WARNING. Are you sure? Changing your bet will reset your bead bonus" error message.

However using the SPIN button does not result in this problem.

It is possible to continue without losing the bonus by pressing 'cancel' to get rid of the error msg, then pressing SPIN to continue, but if you try to use the max bet button again, you will encounter the Accumulation Warning msg.

Looks like there is a definite error in this game which should be investigated. I have reported it to Domgame support, and they have said they will look into it.

Do you mind me asking Tropica, how does stuff like this get out of Rival's front door?

Winmill had exactly the same problem at launch where the help file showed completely the wrong RTP information.

Honestly, does no one even look at these things before the games go live?

It's not even like Wild Carnival has a 'proper' help file since everything is on the in-game paytable, the help file conveys one single piece of information, which is the RTP, and it showed 76 instead of 95!

I think Rival really let themselves down when they drop clangers like this, 'cause IMO their game design is pretty damn good on the whole and they deserve a better position in the world of online casino software providers.

It's a very good question as Scary Rich 1 and 2 are great games with the potential for some really big wins. I have mailed Rival and asked them if they can build Scary Rich 3 for us - will let you know what they come back with. Holding thumbs!

There is a Max Cashout, but seeing that this is a Christmas Chip, we are allowing loyalty points to be earned at the normal rate. This player already has almost €200 in loyalty points!

Rival have replied now saying this was human error, however we must confess that the fault lies with us (operators) also. We roll out new games and give free chips hoping that players trying it, will detect any errors. We are meant to check the help file (a lesson learnt from Win Mill) and we did not. We tested the game and had loads of fun doing so, but the help file was never checked. We have now created a check list for all new game roll-outs and added the Help File to it.

Help file content: We asked now for more content to be added and will wait to see what Rival says.

Rival replied stating that this was definitely something to think about and would discuss it internally. They have a game roll-out plan which allows them to roll out 1 new game a month, but we're hoping they can do this game for you

In December, you asked for Scary Rich 3 and the request went to the games development team at Rival. Rival are pleased to announce today that Scary Rich 3 will be rolled out on 01 October 2013.

Great news. Shame that expanding wilds are not multiplied like the previous games, hope it's same high variance.

It's a shame I won't be playing at Tropica due to bonus banning me because I won, was a bit annoyed that they didn't even tell me. I know it's a privilege to get a bonus but would have been nice to be notified or warned. At least I can play Rival at Tropezia palace.

It says "during normal play" which indicates to me that this does NOT apply during free-spins.
Also the wilds expand during free-spins and not in normal play - if they did both then MEGA-wins would be possible!

I really wish Rival would stop with the 50-line slots already. I will reserve judgement on this slot until I try it for real, but I really hope it's better than some of their other recent releases which have been pretty poor compared to many of their excellent older slots.

This has always been a recurring problem with Rival. I don't understand why they didn't bother to proof-read the damn thing before the launch. If these things need to be fixed harm has already been done and some players like Chopley will be put off from playing at Rival casinos. If they can make a blunder of one new slot then what would happen if they release a dozen new ones. Many players are now savvy enough to understand the importance of the estimated RTP. A 76% RTP!!!! Even if you told me I was getting a 10% premium over it I wouldn't touch it with a large barge pole. Better off buying multiple tickets on a lottery or bet on no-hopers at the racecourse.

On a positive note I am glad to hear you persuaded the software provider to release SR3. The first 2 versions were drawcards and there were many winning screenshots though the king of them all sort of got addicted to these slots and lost everything back. The new release in October should arouse some attention and I hope to see some screenshots in the near future. 3000x bet perhaps. Not impossible with those expanding wilds at 5x.

I doubt everything is truly resolved as members most notably KK listed a number of bugs in the software and others complained of the published RTP which was ridiculously low and that was more than 2 years ago. Rival just doesn't check on these things do they?

Churn out a decent promo for SR3 and you will be amply rewarded. There is a big following out there.

Anybody tried this yet? First impression is that it's not as high variance as the other slots and the graphics are a bit poor.
