Question Why would a site remove the Divine Fortune slot?

So, I am playing at a site where they have removed the Divine Fortune original slot for over a month now. The last time I played it, the Jackpot was over 150K.

I am just curious what the reasoning behind removing this slot would be?

Particular players joining the casino and en masse playing that game. I can name those players :)

Personally I don't see the point. The jackpot has been paid for by players through jackpot contributions, a percentage of their bet.

Also, you are not allowed to "just remove" a jackpot game.

Hi Jan,

Thanks for taking the time to reply to that.

Well, that's exactly what they have done, Since December there is no sign of the game and still not as off right now. Not that it make's much difference to me as I only just play it the odd time.

But I am thinking why have they removed it? Are they doing it as risk assessment or something? In the unlikely event that it might be won soon.

Like you said, there is no point to it. So, I wonder is this rogue like behavior? Even though they are reputable and have all the legit licences.

What does support say? Especially when you asked... I have wagered xxx Euros and therefore contributed xxx Euros to the jackpot. Since I can't play the game I wan't my contributions back :)

FYI: 3% of each bet goes to the jackpot.

I can't answer for the casino, but the game is certified for all markets so can't see the "risk" card can be played here.

I played there last week and there was a problem with all Netent slots, where they would not load up. But I had been watching previously for Divine Fortune since it disappeared.

So, I went and asked support and specifically I mentioned Divine Fortune which they just gave me a response off ( Sorry but all Netent slots are down which could last up to 24hrs). About 3hrs later they where all back and working fine.

I didn't push on asking anymore about Divine Fortune as I expected some kind of generic response. I have been checking every week on their site for it but still no sign.

Haha but I will ask that next

Hi Colin,

Lets just say for now they are in the good books here on CM.

Another thing though, is it really possible to ask for your contributions back? I can't see a casino doing this:confused:
Why not just say, it's not a secret if they have removed it, other people will see :)
I would be asking about my jackpot contributions though, do they have a rep?

Might this be that this game is Flash instead of HTML5?
A lot of old videopoker games are no longer available because Flash is no longer supported since 01-01-2021.

It was rumoured a while ago that players could manipulate it somehow to pay jackpots at certain changes of stake. I know we had a casino rep thread here a couple of years back about one player winning it many times, exclusively playing the game.

It is also an ideal slot for colluders. I believe Netent had to rapidly remove and repair that retro Nintendo-themed game after me and some others pointed out you could manipulate it via changes of stake.

Now they have Rome Golden Age out which theoretically could pay hundreds of thousands times bet if you achieve the 1000x progressive feature multiplier.

I just don't want to blacken them until they give me a valid reason for the removal.

I have asked them now and Cs says, they will forwarded it to the manager. When I ask about the 3% , I got the reply why would I receive anything since I lost.

Also, I went to play Holmes and the stolen stones yesterday and have also seen they have removed that.

To which you reply, I contributed to the jackpot, which, had I kept playing I might have won. You have taken my money then removed the chance of me winning :)

One of them has bumped it up too management. The other when asking for a update. Replies why don't I play another of their slots since they have over 1k others to choose from.

And also tells me that the stats on the game resets every 12 hours or not?

So, I asked, but it seems like they are heading down the road of , one of my other unresolved questions.

I always find these stories interesting.
Can you elaborate on what you mean by manipulate via change of stake?
Do you mean like a backdoor coded in or a glitch?

So, Final update.

They say they contacted the provider and that they had removed the game. But now it is back up.

I guess, it is better to bring it back than pay me my 3%

Have you played it yet? I played it and I can tell you, Even to achieve that 1000X multiplier. You need to progress by collecting 200 coins each level. I think there is around 20 levels to get to the 1000X multiplier. Not sure. I did not count it. But it can take around 100 or more spins to collect 200 coins for just 1 level. Feature also triggers on average about every 250-500 spins too. So Theoretically. Reaching that 1000X multiplier is basically impossible. Because as soon as you trigger the feature what ever multiplier you got it too, it then resets it back to 1X the progress bar stays if you was half way done though......

I will not be playing this again. This slot is shite and the base game sucks like hell. Pays tiny in base game. Bonus kinda bad but as I said, will be impossible to trigger the feature at 1000X multiplier...... :)

P.S - I see this slot not lasting long. Net Ent will probably discontinue it soonish once they see that people are not playing it because they again made a bad slot....... Net Ent love discontinuing slots. They make soo many bad and poor slots it is no surprise lol :p

Where did you play it at? As videoslots are offering it up at a whopping 93%, I'm going to check on novibet, they're usually a bit behind new releases though

So had a quick shot, you need 3800 coins to reach the 1000x multiplier and hope you don't get a bonus before hand, that's going to be some grinding session to try reach it.

I'm wondering if it saves your progress, so you could do a daily 100 spins and hope you don't bonus it, collect some coins then leave, a bit like the hearts on lil devil. Try progress to 1000x, cause you so eloquently put it, the wins are shocking

96% at novibet
Doesnt matter... The games RTP is in the range of 92-93%. The games RTP with jackpot payout is in the range of 96%. That's it, nothing else.

Turns out my theory is shite, thought I'd get to double multiplier then scatters hit, then I realised you only get 3 spins, followed by chances of hitting enough coins to make it a decent win make it highly unlikely for the casual like myself.

Well question for you Jan, why say the RTP is 93% when in reality it's 96% (with jackpot), even though it's not a jackpot game, but I get why that's the way it's stated. Who's wrong to state here, the 93% casino or 96%?
