I thought it would be fun to start a thread to see which game is the one that consistently sucks your money up without giving anything back.

For me it's Tomb Raider, the original one. I can't seem to hit anything anyhow on that game. I've gotten the free spin feature, but it usually pays only about 5-10x my bet and rarely get a retrigger - but when I do, it doesn't pay much more. I don't remember the last time I got more than 3 scatters, and I don't know how many times I've gotten wilds on the first two reels and a 10 on the third.

About 4 or 5 years ago I won a big tourney on Tomb Raider, I was getting multiple scatters and retriggers and wilds all over the place. And since then, playing for real - nothing....I keep thinking sooner or later I have to hit something, but I just never do. I've had at least one or two payouts on BDBA, Immortal Romance, T2, Isis, Raindance, T-Rex, Tut, even the killer whale Playtech one...almost every game on every platform. But since I had one decent run in that Tomb Raider tourney I guess I've used up my 'lifetime' quota of luck on it.

Without doubt, the Microgaming fruitie "Six Bomb". The only one to have claimed a resounding victory by offering me almost 4K early on, and then sucking 5K whilst never offering anything like it ever again:mad:

It broke all the fruitie rules, and I have never managed to win anything worthwhile from it.

There are other MGS fruities that have beaten me for a while, but I have always had my revenge in the end, most recently on "Game On", which has beaten me in the past.

After careful consideration, I think I'd have to say (the VERY aptly named) Fortune Falls at 3Dice.
I love everything about this slot - except it wont pay-out for me

I remember Enzo telling me that the feature game has a 1 in 16 chance of progressing to the next level (which would be right if each "drop" is true 50/50), but I don't think it has EVER done it for me in what must be around 100 features.
Also I've only ever had the 4 Butterflies a few times and the 5 just once - back in May 2008. Even then the ball dropped into the lowest win :(

Hopefully posting this will change my luck - you never know! ;)

I mainly play at 3 Dice now and moolah is mine. I have a love/hate (mostly hate) with it. I keep thinking that baitch owes me.

Exactly the same machine for me.

The odds you've got there are a bit wrong KK, after I lumped some 23,000 spins through Fortune Falls and achieved an RTP of less than 88%, I asked 3Dice for the odds of getting 5 scatters and they came back with this.

Here are the numbers you requested for Fortune Falls :

*3 scatters odds : 1/61
*4 scatters odds : 1/846
*5 scatters odds : 1/29629
*1 in 32 features upgrades

*total odds for getting in the highest category : 1/29629 + (1/32 * 1/846) +
(1/32*1/32*1/61) = 1/11534

I would like to add that in that bonus game all the odds are fully natural .
i.e. every flower has a 50% chance to go left or right (just as the odds in
the moolah light).

I did go back to the slot one more time and put another 3000-4000 spins through it, and still didn't get 5 scatters. This took me to over 25,000 spins and my RTP was still less than 88%.

That pretty much finished me off at 3Dice TBH, used all my rainy day funds, felt a bit demoralised, and haven't played there since.

So yes, I nominate Fortune Falls too. I'd say it's a pretty badly designed slot overall, they flag it up as medium variance, but unless you get the 5 scatters bonus round, you're just never going to get your RTP much above 88% as so much of the RTP is tied up in that round.

Maybe a bit early, cuz the game is not so old, but that Untamed Bengal Bullshit game has sucked alot of my deposits and winnings from other games.
Dont think I've ever left that game with more than I entered it.

"Winning" 0.02 from a 0.30 bet works on my nerves too.
I gave up on it.

And T-Rex ofcourse. For me, impossible to win anything on.
Supah high variance, I know, but so is Mystic Dragon, and with that game my balance sometimes goes UP, sometimes even ALOT up.
With T-rex its only ever down, down, down, down...

its robot builder for me what a drain that is, also i keep trying on witch doctor that owes me a lot as well.
Don't you mean Robot Butler?
Didn't like that slot at all - or Witch Doctor - think I played both just once when they came out & never went back.

Hellboy for me, I like the idea of "random" sticky wilds.I had 5 hellboys once for 300 many months ago and never been near that since.
Trying to get any decent win or a free spins bonus is really tough.

Being is the good old USA, I am limited on casinos to play at...So at 3dice I would have to say Moolah..Just can't seem to give up on that game.
I have had some hits on it, but can deposit and deposit and deposit and go thru 200.00 in no time..I just keep thinking, 'its gonna hit', its gonna hit'.
At RTG, Mystic Dragon..Forget it!!! If I finally get the bonus round, I land up with 5.00 or 10.00..Yikes!!!!

In all fairness I should report back a good session at 3Dice this evening. (I've purely been playing with my VIP bonuses for the last three weeks or so, as that 25,000 spin depress-athon on Fortune Falls had left me feeling a bit negative when it came to 'normal' deposits, especially as I'd used all my Rainy Day funds.)

Deposited £40 with a 100% match for an £80 bankroll, managed to meet the modest 10xB WR purely playing Fortune Falls with a balance of over £125. Didn't get that elusive 5 scatters bonus round but did have a number of 100-140x stake hits on the 4 scatters free spins.

Switched over to Super Suits + and got a couple of nice bonus rounds on that, and managed to pay off all my Rainy Day funds, and still had a 50% match up to £40 ready to use as well.

Playing through that now, not really bothered if I bust out on that or not, it was just nice to have a decent little run and get those Rainy Day funds cleared. (And for the record I do really like the idea of the Rainy Day funds, totally unique touch from 3Dice.)

What game is my nemesis?... hmmmm... RTG !

Oh... no.... wait...

Sorry, can't narrow it down any further.

Without any shadow of a doubt it has to be the MGS PJP Caribbean Cyber Stud for me, 1st time I ever played it I hit 4OAK for an overall stake of £16 and got a return of just over £1500, next time I played I hit 4OAK again but the dealer didn`t qualify (cost a grand in winnings), from this day on I thought I had some God given right to hit 4OAK every time I played it, took awhile and several £hundred before this sank in lol.

I would also say Moolah - it's one of the highest variance slots on 3Dice, IMO, so it mostly pays nothing, but when it does pay, it pays really big.

Texas Hold 'Em Bonus has alway been a killer for me. Seen soooo many sole destroying sessions playing that game.

Most recently for me probably Santas Wild Ride lately, been having some horrible sessions, odd feature here and there but lucky to get over 50x. I'll keep plugging away though :p

It's kind of funny how we keep going back to games that beat us down so much sometimes. I for one love Paydirt, yet I know the odds are good that as soon as I go in I'll lose my bankroll. Yet...in I go! The first time I played T-Rex (last week) I hit 5 eggs on my 5-6 spin. Now I'm lucky to get two eggs. My usual gameplan is this: Go in with $30-$40, play Builder Beaver (because I hit features constantly on that game for some reason) at a .25 a spin, then as soon as I build up a little I go hit the games I really want to hit the feature on, T-Rex, Triple Twister and Paydirt. As soon as I get too low on funds I run back to Builder Beaver with my .25 spin until I build back up some. I guess I just go with the notion that at some point I'll hit one of my features and it will pay off. Definately have a love/hate relationship with quite a few games. I hate them so much I love to play them? I will say though that I won a RJ on Paydirt and a Minor RJ on Builder Beaver, all in the last month so I shouldn't complain (about the other $100bazillion that I've lost)

i would have to say boys to king on rtg- my wife hit once big but i can never do anything on that game but yet i keep going there to hope that it will hit this time :)

Both untamed games, have something like 47% rtp so far on 32red's Bengal Tiger, oh and dolphin coast = 3125 ways to win 10p..

This thread for some reason reminds me of something I've been meaning to ask. Does anyone else go into a game, spin 10-20 times and if you don't hit anything, back out and go back in? I do this all the time and i have no idea whether I'm actually "resetting" something (obviously that's what I THINK I'm doing) or if I'm just being a goober and it's not making any difference at all. Feel free to poke fun.

No - just the opposite!
I hate leaving a game after only a short time because I feel that the longer I play the more I am "due" to get a win.
Now I know it really doesn't make a jot of difference - it's just my way.

Re your previous post: If I were you, as you seem so lucky on Builder Beaver, I would forget those other slots and just bet bigger on that!

I know, reading that it sounds silly that I don't always play it. Once I was betting $2 a spin and hit $800 in the feature, just one of the spins. I just got done with it again, turned a .50 spin into $98. I'll give it another go in the morning! I agree on staying in the game because you think something will happen but I seem to have better luck backing out and going back in! Glad you don't think I'm crazy.

Actually I do that sometimes, so I'm a goober too. A couple times at the B&M casinos I'd go to a machine that someone else had been playing for a long time and literally hit something decent in the first couple of spins. So when I got a machine that was killing me, I'd cash out, get up, walk around my chair and sit down and say, "OK machine, I'm a completely different person!" ;)

for me it's spring break on Microgaming, played it dozens of times, think I hit the feature once and it paid out 2 or 3x my total bet, used to play it next to thunderstruck as it's a similar setup and would hit the feature much more frequently.

No contest, Robin Hood: Shifting Riches from Net Ent. Shifting riches, alright. Shifting them from my pocket into Nordicbet's pocket. Over the past four-five months, I've thrown at least a few thousands spins at that game -- dry as a bone.

And while it's not nearly as bad, I haven't had much that approximates luck at Pinnacle's Take It Or Leave It.
