suppose you are given a $10 bonus out of the blue at a casino. you fully expect simply to lose the $10. you turn it into $100. you then go read the terms and see that 10x is the max cashout, but also that you have played an unacceptable game under the bonus terms. then, try as you might to lose it all back, you just keep winning. you're now making $100 bets and continue increasing your balance. also, you have spent hundreds here and not once successfully cashed out. and bearing in mind this is an honest casino listed here, although they are taking a little abuse on the boards of being quite tight as of late. funny a terrific run of cards comes when bonus money is involved on a disallowed game, not to call the game's integrity into question, just casual observation.

but what do you do now? keep trying to just blow the money? try some games you might not have played before? try to sweet-talk the casino into paying you $100? leave the money in the account for a week and just see if it gets deleted on you?

please don't come on and say i ought to have read it, because obviously this is so, but with a $10 bonus i wasn't overly concerned, and given my past losses, i never expected to be playing more than two hands anyway, and was quite through with trying to win there. and not to mention i have played the same game with the same sort of bonus when it was credited to me before, and i continue to get the bonus, so one might wonder why i continue to receive it the way i lose it so abusively each time. so that i will eventually get to this point where i win and still can't cashout?

yes i'm a dope for not reading it before playing, but over $10 it almost isn't worth even bringing up the website and spending ten minutes reading. but also i have not played there in a few months, and paying out $100 to pacify me and give me faith that i can actually win at their game could be very beneficial to them. you know what i mean? two way street and all that.

but will that kind of thing make me into an abusive player?

yep i might be dead now. went in and started playing $50/hand, hovering around 500 the whole time, and abruptly got cut off mid-hand. reload the game, frozen. shut off the casino, reload, can't log in. i'm toast.

ok i can log in now, and they didn't take my money away. and i guess it only states in the terms that all winnings are null and void, not that any comp points derived therefrom are damaged goods as well. we shall see

EDIT: but i guess they would expect people to play down their balances to the max cashout anyway right, just in this case it's 0

I did the same thing (at the same casino) a couple of months ago. I played BJ and VP with the bonus, had decent luck (I also question this "luck" when playing disallowed games... the software knows that you are playing a bonus because it will say either "Balance" or "Withdrawable Balance" in the cashier, depending on if you have met WR - so obviously it tracks and knows when you are using a bonus). But I digress. Knowing full well that I couldn't cash out, I played as much as I could to generate comps. Basically it would go like this: play some BJ or VP to build up the balance, then go play slots where I was sure to lose. Rinse and repeat.

Anyway, after busting out I redeemed my comps and they didn't hesitate to credit them to my account. So I suggest trying to make it last by playing as many comp-eligible games as you can. Baccarat, roulette, multi-hand video poker, craps and bingo (that crappy bonus ball bingo?!) don't count towards comps. Interestingly enough, blackjack DOES count towards comps, which I find interesting since <sarcasm>RTG blackjack is totally fair and all</sarcasm>.

Yes, agree with posts re: comps.

You will know this already but you should meet the playthrough on a $10 bonus no bother on an allowed game and still make your maximum cashout (unless crazy terms associated with the $10).

Is it clear in the ts & cs that the game is disallowed or is it merely banned from WR? If latter should be no problem, if former you may have to lean on their discretion slightly more but surely they'd pay out on a $10 bonus with the maximum risk being $100 to themselves??

Make the playthrough, continue until you get back down to $100, withdraw and see where it takes you....

Good luck!

It's specifically disallowed:

Unless otherwise stated offers do not apply to Craps, Roulette, Sic Bo, Multi-Hand Video Poker, Video Poker, Blackjack/21 variants or Baccarat play. Any play on these games using a balance that includes any bonus or part thereof, will result in all winnings becoming null and void.

OK, quite clear that then.

Not sure how to handle it now, would be inclined to playthrough on allowed games and continue until you are back down to maximum withdrawal.

At that point if any issues with withdrawing would kindly ask them to reconsider given the oversight (I too wouldn't bother my @rse reading through terms for a $10), your previous depositing with them etc.

Any casino who actually value your custom and want you to return would pay up.

sw you're so clever! i never once mentioned rtg or the name of the place. i knew it wouldn't take a lot of sleuthing to decipher this however, as i gave a lot of clues. anyway, i was able to play it up as high as 900 on pontoon and am now back down to 100, and i think i earned quite a few comp points. i should lose the rest of the 100 though eh since i know it's no good anyway? and to redeem comps i have to fill out a form or provide id or something, seeing as i've never redeemed or cashed out before. i dread this, but since i use visa almost exclusively now, i have to do this to cash out quite often. what are rtg's best slots (which accrue comps; i didn't know some games do not)? i might as well give them a whirl with some 20 cent bets eh, to practice for next month's bonus when i am forced to play such things

I would stick with Ronin or Tiger Treasures. All the slots earn you comps, it's just those other games that don't. You can check your comp points in the cashier, 50 of them = $5 but 100 points = a little more than $10, it's a sliding scale. And I never had to send anything in to redeem my comps, although I did send ID the first time I ever made a withdrawal (ah, withdrawals... the good ole days).

Good luck!!

doubled the 100 in four hands of pontoon, now off to the slots!

EDIT: zomg rtg slots spin the sllllllllllllllowwwwwwwwwwest!

Have you checked to see how many comp points you have yet? They add up VERY SLOOOOOOOOOWLY. But they say that there's no max cashout on 'em so... gamble away your bonus slowly and when you're done, cash in the comps and beat the snot out of them!

(BTW, depending on what time of day it is, it might take 6-12 hours for them to credit your account with your comps)

i think it was in the neighbourhood of 175 i've collected in all my cash losses and now this bonus play has added another 100 or so iirc. so i will get a decent amount to work with when i do go to cash them in.

results so far: 100 spins on ronin @ .20, down 8 bucks. first 25-50 spins on tiger, feature hit. spinning 11 free spins now... yield $3.34

update: spun it all away, cashed in 250 comp points for $32.50

turned that into 400 bucks playing bj and pontoon! took like fifty hands to get a bj, playing at $5 just to bill up the change, took the remaining 25 bucks over to pontoon, doubled-five-carder on first hand ($5 bet), stepped it up to $10 bets, and eventually $15-$20. hovering between 120-240 for a while, then some nice wins put me over 400 and i backed off and decided to quit there. i'm almost square with my losses there now, assuming all goes well with the cashout. i think i had a problem last time, like my printer was out of juice or paper when i went to print the scanback form or something.

so it ended up all good!

true dat, although over half of those comps were from before when i gave them hundreds of my money. but's it's all good.

 (you copycat :p)

Noticed that but couldn't find anything more appropriate, it wasn't a  or a  and I'm certainly not starting :notworthy for you!

well so long as it was only situational, you're fine. it's just i do that on nearly every post, certainly i wouldn't try to own the smiley. just keep it in check, i'm watching you...:D

back in black

update: $400 becomes $1000, time to rustle up them there documents and not be stupid! i went as low as 125 hustling the pontoon table, but carved out a fantastic result in the end!

1000 becomes zero! i'm the hugest loser. i hate this casino. not because i got unlucky, but because the moneybookers withdrawal option is maxed at 250, and all the documents etc including one you have to print and scanback. makes me feel like not cashing out because it's going to be a lot of procedural crap. there's always next month. and at least i got a good amount of gambling in without depositing. and i bet i have a bunch of comp points built back up, too.
FUCK!

Lemme see if I got this right...
They give you ten bucks to play with. You make money. You don't read the terms so instead of contacting them to try again you go a chacanerous route (use the comps loophole) then you stick your neck out and lose it all.
loophole becomes Happy's noose :)

Why don't you just deposit another ten bucks of your own and have another go? Lets hope the rare fairness of this casino doesn't change in re comps - max cashout.

:lolup:I was following your story from the beginning of the thread. LMAO I know the feeling. I did it 3 times the last 2 weeks. Got up over $1000 and think i cant lose and then begin betting bigger to chase a $50 losing bet.
