What would be the reason for someone not to have a neteller account?

also neteller will have access to your bank account information
Of course Neteller has access to your bank account. That's how they verify that you are who you say you are. That's how YOU move money in and out of Neteller to and from YOUR bank account.
Makes sense?

you don't need to give bank account data, it possible to verify personal data with the credit card. or did i understand something wrong ?

Hi,

I double checked the neteller web site. You do not need to give them your bank account info. Bank account info will allow them to certify the account, which has some benefits.

I actually funded my neteller account initially via winnings from a no deposit bonus, though not all casinos allow this. After you fund as such you can then get the neteller debit card to get withdrawls. If you run low you could in theory fund a casino with a prepaid/debit card, get some winnings and move the funds to neteller. I have done that also. You do not have a method of funding neteller with the neteller debit cards.

Also most North American Visa/MC banks are not allowing funding to neteller or click2pay.

Moving money to and from your bank account in the states does open you up for some "audit trails" . I would question if the availability of neteller records to the US taxing agencies. But hopefully I will not find that out.

HMMmmmm....
I opened my Neteller account about two years ago. I had to verify my account, with the pennies that they put in my bank, before Neteller would OPEN my account with them.

Has something changed?

neteller, they have tighter secruity for one landiar.
my sister sign up about 6 months ago and got scared they knew all her info plus are relatives info. They use a service to help prevent fraud.

I asked Colin Francis about bank accounts.
This is his reply to me:

Hey John,

It is not a requirement to sign up a bank account in order to have a NETELLER account. However, for North America, you will need to sign up a bank account and verify the micro deposit in order to certify your NETELLER account. This then gives you the ability to do EFT's as well as higher limits for credit cards, and the ability to do Peer to Peers.

Clients outside of North America have to send in documents (fax or scan) to certify their account.

I hope this helps.

Regards,
