What is the consensus on showing volatility?

Is it fair that one can have 80-90 spins with 0 return on a game without you know anything about the frequency of wins.

I have asked several times of Coral, who in my opinion are the worst online Casino in terms of reliability and customer service. I keep explaining that pasting a standard RNG long term RTP answer is not my point? I even asked to be escalated making it simple and clear that 1 win of 1000x stake in 1000 spins is the same RTP as 100 wins of 10x stake. The alleged manager just copied and pasted the same text as if he was replying in his own words.

The game provider must know.

Can we start a campaign to get them to publish volatility? Its the only gambling system i know where you have no clue of the odds of win when you wager.

Agree wholeheartedly that games should come with more info, stats, or a universal rating system.

The current state is misleading, whereby one developer's medium volatility rating is similar to anothers high or very high, and so on.

Sounds like you want the hit frequencies and win ratios, which you can find on some game sheets. Also, some developers show this kind of thing in the game info or on loading screens, like 4ThePlayer:

This is exactly what i am on about, and yes that would be fair and actually encourage safer gambling for those on a budget

Would be nice if these kind of datasheets were available to view for all games and to players not just casinos and affiliates, like this one from quickspin who have them on their website, it even shows the various RTP version differences.

One of the dodgy crypto joints I frequent shows RTP and volatility under the tile for every slot. Wished they all did that.

I have seen this somewhere as well, but it looked like they just put those numbers up there and that's it. I couldn't check and compare with the game files as i didn't have an account on that site.

But if it's all correct, then it's a nice feature.

RTPs should all be at max on the site I screenshotted above (Metawin- they boast always having the highest RTP available, but I’ve not checked every single one), and the volatility indicator “seems” reasonably accurate too in my opinion.

It’s actually a nice little crypto casino, and they pay out super fast (Stake/BC.Game level of speed). Their catalog could be a little bigger, but they have most of what I play regularly (Prag, Prag, and Prag) and I’m sure the selection will grow over time.

Prag, Prag, Prag with its Big Bass fish is already smiling everywhere... Even along with Novomatics on their slot machines.

Played it a few days ago at a real casino - 20 spins without a single win, lol.

Yes, you can tell the developers who play fair from their approach.

Quickspin - Here are the figures, come take a look and make an informed decision.

Play'n GO - Let's hide the RTP info on demos and real money games at Curacao casinos to deceive players.

Stay away from developers like Play'n GO. If they are hiding things, imagine what they do behind the closed doors of game development. Untrustworthy and not worth your money.

The interesting thing with PnG is that they have never gone down the bonus buy or extra bet route which is commendable. But their lack of complete transparency regarding RTP settings is very poor.

I went off PnG slots for a while as I got sick of the micro wins it often only gave me, but I quite liked the mechanics of Tomb of Gold so have been playing that on occasion.

While we're being open, I sometimes hit Gemix at MrQ :)

Though I often cry naked in the shower afterwards.
