G'day,
Back in 2005/6 I found "Live Poker 3D", a Mac/PC poker app with fairly decent 3D animation, sounds, chat, etc.
You could play for pretend money only at first... then after a few months, they introduced real money, giving every registered person US$10 to start.
Think I got up to about $150 before losing all but $10... at which point I requested a cheque...
Around this time (not sure exactly, but no later than 2007 I think?), there were some legislation changes in the USA regarding online gambling...
Suddenly the real money side of the game disappeared, no cheque, and after a while, no one was ever playing...
The game is still showing up on sites to download...
ie:
Link Removed (invalid URL)
But the download doesn't seem to work... and their
Anyone know the story behind this?
cheers
