Do anyone think it would be cool for the Meister to add instant messaging? So if you are on at the same time as someone you need a quick response. You can just IM them.

Not for me. PM's work just fine. I'm old fashioned.

It's already a feature go to user control panel (top left of your forum menu on this page) click on 'edit profile', scroll down to instant messaging and enter your parameters.

I think maybe Atlanta meant within the forum itself...?
This feature is available with the software this forum uses (vBulletin) - Another forum I sometimes visit has it right at the top of the forum home page, just above all the posts:-

Well the meister does have private messaging..it's almost the same as IMing.
