I have several strange and crazy beliefs when I play certain slots and wondered if it might be fun to share any that other members may have.

There is no room for arguments or scientific evidence in this thread....please keep it light and fun.

So...

What are your slot superstitions, urban myths and legends?

1. I'll start off with sharing my belief about the slot 'Ted'. Put him on autospin and prod his tummy. Nearly always wakes him up.

2. Fast play never pays as well as doing it yourself.

3. Grim murito - Always pick blue skeleyon on your 1st near miss bonus for a guarenteed book.

4. Tickle pandas tummy in paws of fury for a random bonus.

Looking forward to reding some of yours x x

Be careful with Bonuses!
It is  crucial  that you understand and agree to the terms and conditions of any bonus that you accept. Most of the complaints that come through our arbitration service are bonus related; it would be safe to say that there are tens of thousands of players who have never complained because they realized after the fact that they did not understand or had never read the terms. Nothing in a casino is free – so whenever you see “free” being used, there are stipulations. It is important for you to understand that.

Please check out our Bonus Section that lists the offers given by our Accredited Casinos. No deposit bonuses, welcome bonuses (AKA sign up bonuses [SUBs]), exclusive bonuses, reload bonuses, free spin bonuses...all this and more!
There's the new "3rd Scatter encouragement" system which I sit here doing most sessions - mainly DoA but also other games which have a "teaser" spin when awaiting the 3rd scatter.

1) Stare extra hard at each of the reels, nose virtually on the screen

Next 'tease'

2) Point at the reels - If It is a "3 reel teaser"( (C) Jon M book of slotting terminology 2003)

3rd reel - centre, 4th reel - top, 5th reel - bottom.

next tease

3) "no peaking" close eyes as tease starts and listen for that satisfying sound :)

I also have others which I'll post depending on the mockery I receive from the above :p

With the two scatters- and desperation kicking in as I'm almost bust- I will actually point at the reel I need it to drop, muttering 'come on you c*nt', all the way along the strip.

I used to convince myself auto spins were bad and manual spins good and pure, up until getting 5 scatters and accompanying wonderhits using autospin.

This hasn't stopped my paranoia mind. if I lose on a particular session I'll blame myself for not having used the 'correct' method. (but manual spins pay more still:oops:)

I'd reload a game if doing badly on it. Doesn't really work.

Oh and I once wrapped my entire head in Asda tinfoil before playing DOA, still couldn't win diddly squat.

If using laptop i have for the past year after clicking start fs on doa move the cursor just to the left of where you click the start spins button. Trying to leave it as neat as possible to the side of it before the spins commence. If its not perfectly skilled into position once the 1st reel lands i concede to the fact i wont get a wl.

I also write off my balance as a lost cause and expect a crap punt with few bonus rounds if the first spin of the session on doa throws scatters on reelz 1 & 2, but misses all the rest.

Going through 40 wl & 6 lots of five scatters can mentally change a man.

Book Of Ra - if by a miracle a bonus round comes in, I never watch the symbol reveal.

Rhino - to start the even rarer bonus rounds, I always click the cursor on one of the diamonds (pink squares) in the start box.

Borenanza - always click on letter 's' of 'start' and think of adjectives like 'stunning', 'super' or 'sensational' to describe the forthcoming vile bonus round, and inevitably end up with 'shit', 'substandard' or 'shocking'.

Jungle Spirit - on the heartstopper I always say 'pretty pink flower, pretty-please' to make it come in. :p

I still lose.

Fantastic posts so far! Thank you.... either I’m NOT crazy, or you are all as crazy as me and we need locking up lol

Dunover, I too speak nicely to flowers, elephants and fireflies in Jungle spirit.....

Forgot to mention I also circle the wilds on DoA as they drop with the cursor. (has to be clockwise)

1 x for reel one, twice for reel 2 and so on, leaving pointer in centre of the last wild which landed.

Couldn't keep up for the first time ever just now ;)

See DoA thread, ended with 10 wilds IIRC was too busy wetting myself to capture screen shot

Does that make you left-handed? the natural way for a right-hander to circle the mouse is anti-clockwise?

I just remembered something I do when playing Spinions, and I've never told anyone this. If the two scatters drop in, for some reason I'll obscure the screen view by holding my right hand just in front of me, so as not to see the outcome. Think David Blaine.

I know it's crazy right, I mean who plays Spinions

I recall now also, hang on to your seats here folks, how I used to have thing for DOA's third scatter. I'd not look at the screen and await that 'clink' which, for the most part, would never come :(

I'd also convince myself resting the cursor in and around certain segments of a game would yield better results when getting hammered. It's had varying success, but whenever I'd get a good position the slot would suss it out, and I'd have to find that next 'sweet spot'. I hate it when games have a memory

I don’t have any myths but I recall a slots streamer who once in awhile does a myth busters session. All those people looking for a handout submit their myths to that other message board.

My only belief in regards to slots is that there’s one big winner daily on each slot. In the waning minutes of May 4, 2017 I was the lucky bloke in getting my 5000x win in Viking Runecraft.

Some of mine (which I swear by - anyone who tells me otherwise is WRONG! :) ) include...

1) NetEnt's Streamtower ALWAYS drops 2 or 3 bonuses in a short space of time for me.

2) When I get a bonus round on Bonanza, I'll increase the volume on my phone second-notch away from top! (And if I don't get a win the first spin, I'll assume I 'messed up', and will change the vollumne once per spin until I hit a win lol)

3) Not so much a superstition - confirmed fact - Quickspin games are controlled manually by an operator. Every time you play, he or she determines whether you win or lose! (Semi-satire :D)

Not sure if they signify strong superstitions, or an underlying mental illness in my case lol!

lol i to, do a similar thing

I must have become so accustomed to losing that when I get the feature scatters appear, I walk off to make a coffee and tell myself what's the point in staying as it's only going to disappoint me :)

After I deposit I sit there and stare at my balance for a few minutes admiring it because I know it wont get above that number after I click my first spin

I will continue to play the same slot after not just one, but two or three good bonuses in succession, mainly because we're always told slots are random.

This is before I discovered every session has a glass ceiling

Also, I'll purposely avoid older games when a company releases a new title, because as we know they want everyone to play those instead. Fact.:eek:

Lol just had to laugh at thought of you sitting prodding his tummy and also tickling the panda. But if it works for you good luck.:D

Just so glad you never played at that pornhub casino that had threads in here or god knows what you would be poking and rubbing on there:eek:

My only superstition is to always type the same number in the "if cash decreases by" box. Am I the only one to do that?

You gotta love that RG tool. Most people will type any random number and about eight digits long. And when by chance you have reached that loss limit, the game will just......stop

Brilliantly helpful aid

i never deposit money when my previous leftover balance was 17 cents, ie there was 17 cents leftover from either a cashout or bust session. usually a bust session. lol.

17 is bad luck...

i play it down then deposit....

Its something i subconsciously do too and only realise it after a few bonus rounds. The cursor must always be neatly positioned :D

On DOA I always put in 444444444444 or 55555555555 - I have hit a wildline before with that - Whats stopping me from getting one again ....;)
