I know there is a thread on this but doesn't come up on search so forgive me if question been asked but is there a list of casinos allowing players to use VPNs and why are is there players playing accredited casinos using a VPN and allowed but they don't allow another player on the same casino. There is a casino I know for a fact that there allowing some to use a VPN the casino knows there using VPN but won't allow me to unless I'm in another country vacationing and when I asked why they are letting other players use VPN and not others they took their time to reply and a 1 line response without answering the question.

I didn't even know what a VPN was, all new to me but is it really taboo as before as I researched and its a billion dollar industry and it seems to become the norm and why not seems like your details are much more protected from fraudsters.

Just wondering what casinos take on this and if there are any accredit casinos allowing players to use VPN and that are accredited please let me and other forum members know.

Yeah same happened to me when I wanted to play netent at a casino I think we are both talking about. They said the same to me but then allow government restricted countries to use one to play their games lol.

I sent another email as they avoided my question asking why others are allowed and not myself and again they voided answering the question but said when I'm in the UK they can temp set it so I can use but only the time I'm there which is fine but they won't give me answer why others are allowed from there home and others not. Double standard? favouritism? are these players more loyal?

I remember not long ago they did not allow VPN period I was told they do not tolerate it and they would close the account, seems that has changed and very well should be, will interesting what the future holds in using VPN as like I said it seems very acceptable nowadays just the casinos need to get there act together on this. A casino allowing some players/countries to use and not other tells me they're not 100% fair to all there players and not sure how they determine who can and can not use.

Think its down to how much of a risk it is. One is pissing off one of their major providers so they won’t allow it - Netent.

The other is pissing off a country that doesnt allow players to play their officially anyway, so I guess in this instance they have nothing to lose.

It makes no sense. One is a government ban that software providers and casino dont dare to cross. Ours is a netent ban for no reason. They choose to go around a government ban

Maybe they dont want to lose an entire country to their casino and Know Canadians will still play there since its just a netent ban so then they dont cater to us

Back in 2015, I did play WMS games using a VPN at 888. However, they knew of it. These casinos immediately know if an account is using a VPN or not now. It’s not worth it unless the casino ignores it.

Net Ent is a joke anyway. Raging Rhino (the only WMS game that anybody cares about) is at PlayOLG and pretty much all the popular games are on other casinos. Only Novomatic interests me at this point.

Over here, where online gambling is forbidden due to the dictates of our useless government, we can still play at some accredited casinos, but most (with one notable exception, which is probably the one mentioned above) ban the use of VPNs, so we can only access the less well-known providers.

However I came a cropper the other day - a friend recommended a casino that allows VPN use (part of the Direx NV stable), so asked support if I could play 'forbidden providers', and was assured that would not be a problem. Registered and deposited, and guess what - nope, only had access to the usual-less well known providers, as stated above.

Just as well I only made a small deposit to test the waters. Even so, not a happy little vegemite.

And yet my friend can play NetEnt, MG, Play 'n' Go, etc. at the same casino, using a VPN, without any problems. I wonder if it has something to do with how long a customer has been registered? Long-time player - no probs. A relative newbie - on your bike, as we don't know if you are a govt spy. Who the heck knows, but it is eminently frustrating.

With rare exceptions, no casino is brave enough to go around our government ban, so in our case, an entire country has been lost to all casinos.

I know 1 casino that allows this but they're not UKGC accredited so that would put off 95% of players in my neck of the woods.
