Does anyone know if the wagering requirements carryover when busting out?

I can't tell for sure based on a reading of the terms. They mention that the wagering needs to take place in the month the bonus is issued and if not completed they carryover. But I can't tell if they expire if the deal is played to zero. I could read it either way.

Stanford.

All I can say is that, empirically, they do not (or didn't in October 2004 when I last busted out). Of course, if the T&Cs are unclear they could change it at any time.

Note that VIP have (officially) stopped the match bonus and are doing dated pre-wagered bonuses. The next one is:

BLACKJACK
Date: 10 - 16 January 2005
Bonus: $30
Wager: $800
Bonus Code: jan1016
To claim: YOU MUST GO TO THE CASHIER AND ENTER YOUR BONUS CODE ABOVE BEFORE YOU START WAGERING.

There seemed to be a problem with their first promotion this year where the promo code box was missing and match bonuses were issued.

Hi there,

Kate Berkeley, VIP Casino Manager here. Thank you for raising your valid query. Wagering requirements do need to be fulfilled in full in order for the bonus to be paid out. If you do bust out, you are required to repurchase an amount of your choice and continue with the wagering requirements. Only when these requirements are complete, will the bonus be paid out.

If you have any queries on this, please do not hesitate to contact me at casinomanager@vipcasino.com

Regards

Kate

Kate,

Thanks for your reply - I read it that Stanford was referring to the standard match bonus, as he implied the bonus had been granted already.

I know you are now offering pre-wagered bonuses. I understand that means that if I signup for, say, the Blackjack promotion running today, deposit $100 and bust out before hitting $800 wagering, I must redeposit to get the $30 bonus.

Really??
Please explain more....!
(i.e. How can I get (and keep) the bonus without meeting the WR?)
Mind you, the next sentence completely contradicts the above statement! :(

Stanford's simple question has produced some rather confused answers! :what:
(None of which actually answer the question!)

Hi Arbster,

Yes that is correct. To get the $30 bonus, one needs to wager the full $800 on Blackjack, busting out or not. It is important that this is done within the promotional dates (all set at EST) and that the promotional code is added in the cashier prior to the start of wagering.

Hi Kate,

It is very nice of you to show up here and many thanks.

I was referring to the full match bonus. Such as the one at sign up or maybe those that you use to grant.

** Stan, I think with most casinos (maybe VIP can confirm for themselves) once the bonus is finished, you are released from the wagering requirements. Should you deposit more money after that it is seen as a new 'session' or 'purchase' and therefore you can cash out what you win. If you have a few cents left of the BONUS you are still required to meet the wagering requirements because theoretically you are still playing with the bonus, even if you add your own money to it. This is for a sign up bonus.

For a MATCH BONUS where the casino match your purchase, (IE 50yours + 50 match) you are required to loose the 100 altogether OR meet the wagering requirements to cash out. This is 'standard' at most casinos... I hope it helps. **
