I tried to deposit at Vera&John and a message came up saying I reached my deposit limit. I don't even deposit that much

I sent a message asking what is happening and i got a reply back:

Unfortunately we are not able to offer our services to your jurisdiction anymore hence from the 21st of December am I afraid.

Well that was not a nice way to find out so sad now as I liked playing there

What other Casinos are pulling out of Australia I would like to know and why.

Well, probably Pokerstars for one - they said at a results press briefing recently that they would have to reconsider their position in Oz following the federal government's decision to follow the O'Farrell Review's recommendations and clamp down hard on unlicensed online gambling.

I suspect there will be more operators unwilling to take the risk of operating in Australia, opening the door to the not-so-scrupulous and increasing the risk to consumers.

I'm not sure whether the Aussie parliament has actually passed the changes to the Interactive Gambling Act yet, but they are definitely in the process of doing so, with changes that include new and tighter regulation and restrictions (especially on in-play betting) on a range of components that includes marketing and advertising.
