Vave is listed on Casinomeister in the Grey Zone and you can read our review of Vave here.

Offering players the ability to fund their casino account with over 90 Crypto Currencies, Vave features a great selection of games to choose from.

From the Desk of Max Drayman:

At Casinomeister, we’ve had a few complaints about Vave in the recent past, both on the forums and through our Player Arbitration (PAB) complaints service, but nothing of specific concern has emerged. From that point of view, things look pretty good.

TechOptions/TechSolutions are pretty decent, sans 22bet (x1 bonus redemption term, same platform as orakum). I am fairly sure the same people are behind both companies due to the naming, the sites being highly identical and the sharing of information between the two groups (administrative decision to remove bonus privileges etc).

As far as licencing goes the TechSolutions side of things have things sorted with a Kahnawake licence and a pending GCB. I'd hazard a guess that for vave as well as hellspin and ivibet, which have had their footers scrubbed, they are probably working on getting their GCB licence. Perhaps due to vave being new and pushed for crypto players they have chosen to use a costa rica licence as a stop gap so they atleast have something for the punters to read at the bottom.

Casbit Group went through a few months of being "unlicenced" between the lapse of their old sub-licence and applying for a GCB licence (in progress) which caused some players to panic but it was just a microcosm of what was happening to many sites in the market at the time and like with most others, they do eventually get that lovely three letter sticker at the bottom of their page. Hoping its the same story here.

I only have experience with their non crypto-focused casinos (hellspin, ivibet, 20bet, national, bizzo, granawin) but other than occasional KYC overreaching and a x3 deposit wager rule, they are pretty good. They pay quickly once verified and have regular reloads / vip programs (which only stop if your bonus ratio goes over a certain threshold like mine). I don't have any experience with the TechOptions sites since their old licence lapsed but I haven't seen an uptick in complaints so expect its business as usual while they sort out their new licence.

Vave is licensed, so it’s legit, but I think experiences really depend on each player. I actually came across it for the first time on bitcointalk forum and I’ve been joining some of their contests and playing there from time to time. Personally, I’ve never found an online casino without negative feedback, so I believe all gambling sites that are in the grey zone are ok as long as they stay fair.
