Wow, I've been an active contributing member since Nov 2005, have 135 rep points, and I CAN'T access the thread that is to be dedicated to US players problems? :what:

I am glad that someone started this thread. I think it is so unfair to limit access to this forum to those that have a certain number of post/rep points/whatever. Why the secrecy. Many of us lurk here not because we are selfish but because (at least in my case) we don't really have anything to add to the conversation. There are poster's who are experienced and knowlegeable about online casinos and they do most of the posting. And rightly so. Why penalize those members for simply reading the posts and not cluttering up the board?

Please consider opening up the US forums to all members.

Thanks.

Sure it's debatable, but I have always been a firm believer that if you are an active member of a forum, you will receive your just rewards. This is one of the reasons that I set up the user reputations. The more reputation you have, the more often good things come your way. I'm not penalizing anyone.

Even the "thanking" thing has an effect. Even though some people think it's so gay, it serves a purpose. Whenever you thank someone, you yourself receive rep points as well.

This section isn't all that exclusive. Most of the members who have requested to be let in, have been let in. Don't sweat it out.

U.S. thread

Please, if there's any breaking news on the Neteller situation let those of us on the outside know. Casinomeister is the best place to keep track of the developments.

Major developments will always be in the Casino Industry Discussion Section. I've just moved many of the US specific crisis threads that were going all over the place to this section.

.I like new clutter! Posting good! lol - got any good jokes? Please consider posting more!!! :) :)

I don't mind not be able to post to the new section as I haven't earned the priveledge yet. But I would really like to be able to read it. It could take a long time to get another 100 rep points and things change quickly. I guess ifn I gotta pay my dues, I gotsta. And I'll look for updates in the Industry section. Thanks for the great forum btw, Meister.

Yes if only we could read it we can have updates on whats going on, atleast for people from usa . I have 1500 in neteller as pending also a casino i have a wire transfer of 2000. iI am not sure if i will get hands on that money and to me its a lot.

There aren't any updates on Neteller and all the pending withdrawals. So far, nobody here or anywhere else has any good info on that situation.

Fortunately I don't have any money anywhere, but I feel for everyone whose funds are in limbo.

I agree Soflat, I feel for you all too. Please be assured my post was only meant to enourage posting..not to make light of the situation at hand. I too wish that it was at least visable to all USA...there is nothing worse than being in the dark in a crisis and this is a consolidated, neatly packaged area where info could be picked up as it comes in. Plz reconsider CM?
Thanks so much.
:)

i cant believe the amount of pissin and moanin about this private section. i belong to many online forums, mostly athletic in nature, and they all, yes all, have private sections. they also have moderators who filter out the b.s. posts to keep people from whoring it up just to get post numbers so they can gain access to a section where they will have nothing useful to post anyway! get a life some of you!;)

While I respect your right to post, we are not dealing with athletics here. This is a unique situation that involves cash-cash that has been locked away from the members of this forum and elsewhere, with no clue as to when or how they are going to get it. Any information that would put their mind at ease or at least keep them hopeful of getting their money should be made available to them. My opinon and its not whining. :)

correct. we are not dealing with athletics. we are dealing with online gambling. hardly something important in the world. i even heard someone use the term "crisis." the soldiers dying in iraq is a crisis. cancer is a crisis. not gaming. yes when money is involved it is important. and i'm sure there are people involved in this mess who cant afford to be out but.... we all know gaming should be done with disposable income. if the cash is gone then its gone. i got screwed by neteller months ago and when i started a thread about it i got smoked. no one wanted to hear any negetive. i laughed it off. served me right for giving out my bank account #. bryan has a wonderful forum here. he has chosen to have one, just one, private area. if he didnt most of the stuff probably would be talked about in p.m.'s and no one would know about it anyway. if there is important information it will be shared with all. you guys(not specifically you fru) should give him more credit.

Nobody has any solid information on when or if Neteller will start processing withdrawals again. There is no information in the private forum or elsewhere that would put anyone's mind at ease. They have apparently halted even peer-to-peer transfers now, so that is not a good. We are in uncharted territory here (not me personally, but people with money in NT). If there is any breaking news, watch the Industry section of the forum for it.

wow that was rude. ..yeah sorry i cant spend 247 on the internet posting on a mb to get rep points..

Ya know 1819, you should know by now that THIS forum is not all about "whoring it up for rep points". The members here are all intelligent beings who care about the industry and really enjoy gambling. They are here to share information and experiences. If you want honesty well here goes. You post was rude and condescending. You cant hide those facts behind the veil of "honesty".

my reply was not meant to be rude and i did not want to offend anyone. it was honest. and all the members here are not intelligent. many do not care about the industry. they care about themselves. they are scrambling like mice to make sure that they can get their gambling fix everyday. god forbid they take a break until this all blows over. very hard to be honest with gamblers. they are always right. many, many good members here. not all. i dont always agree with people but i respect everone's opinion. if my post was abrasive then thats what it was. i am sorry if you took offense.:)
