Hiya Everyone

I just want to update on the birth of my beautiful baby boy who was born on the 25th June 2008. We have called him ben.
Sorry I didnt get back to you all earlier but as all you parents are aware we have been busy being parents.
Well where do I start, first off I like to say that woman are the most resilient,pain tolerant beautiful beings of this earth. What your body goes through for nine months then the labor ,OMG the labor- she started having contractions at 10pm Sunday night and baby ben wasnt born until Wednesday 8pm. Katherine (my better half) she started pushing at lunch time wednesday and he still wasnt out by 7:30pm- the Dr's were concerned about this and decided we needed to go up to theatre. They tried suctioning 3 times and he still wasnt coming out- then they tried forceps and on the second agonising attempt he came out, now the amount of people in the theatre and what Katheirne (woman as a whole really) went through.
But as soon as we saw his beautiful face and heard him that was enough to forget what happend in the last 3 days. The poor little fella went through a big ordeal which left him with no energy and he was not eating on his own for the first 3 days and he ended up in ICU due to losing 15% of his body weight- At this stage both Katherine and I were shitting ourselves to say the least not knowing whats going on with our little boy. But after 2 days in ICU being force fed he gained his strength and was able to come home with us a week later. He is now 1 week and 6 days old and is loving life.
Being new parents everyday is a new experience and we are loving it, My personal favortie time is bath time, he looks so bloody cute in his bath ( new borns think they are in the mothers womb when they have a bath and it really relaxes them) he kicks about and has a fat time.
I will be putting pics of Ben,Katherine and myself and would be more than happy for anyone to have a look in my personal section here at CM. I know a few of you wanted an update and I couldnt wait to tell you all ( tell anyone who wants to listen to me).
