I should preface this post by saying that lately I am a very low roller (.40-1.00) bets on some of the video slots. A combination of constant losing and uncertainty about the fate of our "Sport" in the legislature makes me very hesitant to up the stakes.

My question though is this, When do you up the bet?? Say you're "low rolling" along, and you start to get on a winning streak... At what point do you make the decision to go ahead and up the bet?? (I realize this is probably foreign to those of you with big bankrolls, but us low rollers have all been there) I'm just curious as to how some of my fellow players come to that decision. Anyone who wants to reply, is welcome to

Sometimes I up the bet if I'm losing. I'm like you a low roller, - .09 - .90, but recently upped it to .18 - .90 :D

I up the bet when I feel I made enough spins on the low bets but haven't hit any free spins yet. It's that feeling of I know it's gonna hit. Obviously I'm wrong more than right.

But I know when I up a bet, I spin it for at least 15 - 20 spins in the high bet before moving back down.

Or you can just follow a system of 10x - .18, move to 10x - .45, back down to 10x - .27. But you need to continually follow this system regardless of the amount you get. Needless to say this makes slots boring. But it seems to work.

Low rolling is the safest way to make money on internet gambling and you should not feel the need to be apologetic if this is your aim, you are playing well.

See the posts by KasinoKing for more info. (indeed visit his web site)

I have no doubt KK will jump into this thread with his usual mix of dry humour and honest advice.

I start at .54 on Thunderstruck and Ladies ..up the bet if I am winning . Takes about 20 in winnings to up it to .72 and then again and again . Games with more than 9 lines I usually start at either .80 or 1.00 . Don't knock those little bets though . The other night I hit for $750 on a .40 bet at iNETBET . Good luck .

I agree that you can still hit some fairly substantial wins with low bets. I have had several nice payouts with one over 800.00 at 0.01 on a 25 line slot. I also find that when I am disciplined and stick with the lower bet, I am able "to stay in the game" for longer periods and stand a better chance of running a winning streak. When I feel froggy I generally set a goal for increasing my bet.........

50.00 deposit
Start at 0.01 with 25 line and 1 coin = 0.25
Hit 100.00 increase coin size to 2 = 0.50
Hit 150.00 increase coin size to 3 = 0.75, if I lose back to 50.00 I return to original bet, etc, etc.

You could set your goals for any level that seems to work best based on your deposit amount and comfort level. Works fairly well for me and helps when the games are "streaky" Nothing wrong with being a low roller, good luckon your future wagers and remember where that cash-out button is. :D

Thanks everyone for the input. I know it really comes down to that "gut feeling" that we all get when the game is about to hit (yeah right!HAHAHA)! It's just kind of interesting to see how others "systems" work. I too use a tiered increase of the bet based on my balance. Start usually with $50 and increase as I hit higher balances.

Gonna be a beautiful day here in Illinois USA so I'm taking my 3 year old boy out to play. I'll probably play again on Monday and let ya know how I do. Meantime, good luck guys, lets start taking back some of "our" money that we've all been so nice to let the casinos hold for us!!!! Have a good weekend!

I know Liquid and I have been kicking myself ! I had it on auto playing Outta this world and I got the 3 wilds and the planets I think ...kept looking at my balance and before I hit the screenshot key the wheels started spinning again . Looked through the software and couldn't find anything like Viper has to look up wins . Thanks for the cngrats peeps and I did cashout $700 of it .
I will get that screenshot next time

I like hearing from someone who has their gambling in the proper perspective. Go out and enjoy the beautiful day with you beautiful child and maybe play a little later to get "revenge" on the casinos. This is a healthy way to do it. Good luck!
