So I finally got my vouchers replaced, took roughly 20 hours, 4 emails and 3 phone calls.

But that's not the "Warning" part. It's the fact that they got blocked at two different casinos I never had any problems before. I know it's automatic safety measure, but support confirmed that the criteria for these blockings are now tighter.

Might have something to do with new Ukash terms and rules. One that I noticed straight away is that vouchers can be spent only in the country
where they have been bought. I live on the border and buy them in the North quite often (not this time of course). Not anymore, it seems.

There is no guarantee that vouchers will work at casinos. Just load it to Neteller (3% fee) or go with Paysafecard

Thanks for the warning. I have the opposite problem tho, I can use them no problems at every casino.

But If I try to deposit them into neteller then they are blocked and have to phone ukash and send them picture of voucher to get it unblocked then it works fine depositing into neteller. Only takes 10 minutes or so but its still too much hassle.

Just a friendly warning from me as well for against loading it to Neteller:

Neteller has a really weird approach to Ukash and crediting your account with them. If you for example (as is with my case) load $50 Ukash on to your Neteller, you are unable to withdraw these funds through ATM (fair enough I thought at the time). BUT - even if you use these funds in their entirety you've added with your Ukash voucher to deposit at various casinos etc. and then make a withdrawal of eg. $200. If you go the the ATM you can only with draw $150 and not the entire $200 as "$50" will forever be blocked for withdrawal even if those funds were not from the ukash - really weird and frustrating. As of today, I have $60 blocked for withdrawal as in the past I've deposited a $10 and $50 ukash voucher and can only withdraw funds if my account is above this amount (eg. account balance $260 : can only withdraw $200)

I'm not sure if this is country specific (Australia for me) but has anyone else had this same problem with neteller and ukash?

I have had the same bullshit problem, always at Betvictor, Ukash wants proof of the purchase, always takes a couple days to get them unblocked, total pain in the ass, for this reason I have stopped using Ukash.

This is probably the reason for the changes:

"London, 27 November 2014: Skrill Group today announces that it has signed an agreement to acquire Ukash . On completion, this acquisition will add scale and reach to Skrill Group’s rapidly growing paysafecard, one of Europe’s most popular, proven and secure prepaid payment solutions for purchasing online, making the company a global force in secure online payment...."

The issue is that these problems are causing users to flee from UKash, so this will reduce the value of what Skrill has paid for. Skrill themselves don't exactly have a good reputation when it comes to problems suffered by customers coupled with low standards of CS. Some may feel that the recent UKash problems are because the poorly skilled CS staff at Skrill are now handling things, with UKash customers now experiencing the usual standard customers expect from Skrill CS when things go wrong.

Neteller may decide to stop accepting UKash altogether as they are getting tangled up in the problems along with their customers, and these customers are blaming Neteller for problems suffered with their Neteller accounts that result from them using UKash vouchers to fund it.

Maybe Skrill users will be the ones to find Ukash LESS problematic once the two are properly joined.

Worrying to hear problems with Ukash.
I've been using it as I have no credit / debit card or internet banking (self-removed for my own protection a while back when I went a bit full tilt) and only buy a voucher when I can afford to lose, but this is my only means to deposit (to Neteller first at a new site for easy winnings withdrawals, straight to casino if I've used Neteller before).

Bit worrying to see you can't withdraw the full balance. Do they still let you transfer full amount to your bank does anyone know?
I cashed out £125 from neteller to my bank account (less £5 admin fee) two weeks ago after first depositing £100 to Neteller, then to casino. Hoping this will still be OK to do.
UK player.

I didn't know that, thanks.

I never noticed anything, but then again, I rarely withdraw from Neteller. I deposit a lot with them, but when I have a WD that's worth keeping, rather than redepositing, I go with my bank account.

But I am 100% sure that those funds deposited with Ukash are not locked within Neteller, since you can always deposit them to a casino and withdraw to bank etc.

It's great for budget control, Spintee.

Secondly, I am glad I'm mortgage free, but some people obviously aren't and the worst thing that a person can have is a statement full of gambling transactions.

Cards are not widely accepted outside of the UK, here in Canada only 1 of the 5 major banks allow gaming transactions, all else get declined.

Cards are definitely a lot easier here in UK, that's for sure. Just helps me budget a lot better not having a card, as I'm prone to stupidity and lack of self-control (I have Bipolar which doesn't help) so it means I can't blow my bank account on shopping or gambling for a momentary lapse in sanity
