Yes, that's how I stumbled across here! That and thinking I was going off my head noticing the difference in the same slots across three different online casinos I started out as a matched bettor and I'm not a "gambler" per se but part of me thought I was perhaps being a sore loser? Which didn't make sense to me as MB makes you unemotional about the outcome...

Come to find out about the changes since I've been away and that some sites have mucked about with RTP! So no I was not going mad after all lol.

Definitely think you need to research and then research more which is where I have found this site v helpful

I am out of newbie prison but as the title implies, I am Bri'ish and looking for advice on crypto casinos. For reference I am actually a matched bettor and not a gambler. Sorry but I have an entirely unemotional response to all of it and am more concerned with EV rather than enjoying any of it

I have been out of MBing for a few years and when I came back it is pretty obvious the lay of the land has changed. Like I said I am just not a gambler so when I stopped I just never logged into anything (I had like £50 sat in one account that I completely forgot about lol) and was unaware of the UK Government being even more nanny state about gambling. With any luck WW3 will just break out so that the fun police of Labour get distracted by that and given they will also conscript women now it'll be a terrible time for a big rock to land on my foot but anyway.

I have a little understanding of crypto itself but I tend to associate it with crypto bros and haven't really bothered with it. I do understand trading markets because of my day job so I'm aware of fluctuations etc and I know that some are more stable than others. I don't mind having to pick up a better knowledge of crypto.

What has really peeved me off is thinking I was going mad when I would notice the difference in EV on slots and wondering if maybe I had just developed more of a gambler mentality so this was being a sore loser or whatever. But no, the RTP really has changed since I last did MB. I am used to the lack of predictability with casino but for anyone who doesn't have a MB type mentality you have a certain amount of spins you do, you strictly adhere to certain rules and methods etc. You know some will bust and that is the only real 'gamble' you take unless you are doing high risk things. I also sat for like an hour across various sites wondering why I couldn't get autoplay and constant pop ups asking me if I need a break and was like what in the hell when one exchange asked me for bank statements to show my source of income. Mate I am an adult, if I want to go spunk my entire wage up against a wall that is on me. The government can't even care enough to help disabled people or deal with the housing crisis but apparently they care to save a minority of people pissing money away on gambling.

Anyway I have lurked here for a few days and discovered streamers etc as well as more reliable crypto casinos. One of the mods helpfully changed my intro thread title but I really would appreciate advice from those who are also in the UK using crypto casinos. I'd like to hope by my saying I do MB its obvious that I research before I throw money at something

PS I also don't tend to rant about politics in unrelated environments but when they do something that yet again wakes up my inner Ron Swanson I just fizz, sorry!
