I'm travelling in the US in the coming months (New York and California) and wondered about this. I'm not planning to play whilst abroad (except if I decide to head for Nevada) but would be interested to know what the US law dictates.

No way you'll be able to open an account while you're travelling in the US, but you might be able to play if you have an existing account. Good question though, maybe try contacting any of the casinos you're a member of and ask them. And post here if you find out anything, I'd like to know as well.

Ditto what Chayton said. If you have current accounts, notify the managers/customer support to let them know you'll be on the road and ask if you'll be able to play there. I doubt you'd be able to open new accounts from the States.

I think that is a hard one. Do you think that they can prevent you from opening your account? I´m kind on interested in this as I´m planning on travelling around the US in september (Although I hadn´t thought this could be a issue).

Many casinos/poker rooms block US based IPs. Even Neteller may disable your account if you access it via the web from there. You need to let them know ahead of time.

Land of the free...

Neteller will no doubt lock your account, if you try to log in from over there..
Had mine locked when I tried to log in from Canada, and could only get it reopened when I returned to Europe. Was able to use the card over there tho.
