UK bookies losing ID docs

i was asked by a uk bookmakers casino to upload my p60 income tax. which i duly did then after waiting for verification went onto chat, and was told its not arrived, chat asked where did i upload it too and said your upload docs page. so was told to resend it again, now this is the reason i do not like sending information that is useful to scammers,(not saying casino is a scammer) but where has my info gone.

Next time send them a P45 and see how long it takes for them to close the account
