UK Bonus Buys back?

Yeah well. I’ve brought this back up from the dead.

Let me set the scene around 1 month ago SM asked me to re-verify my home address. So I uploaded my bank statement.

One month later it was still pending to be approved.

I won £80. Yes £80 on Monday morning around 9am and decided to withdraw (30 a week limit so a decent tidy profit)

On Tuesday morning they rejected my home address proof ‍♂️ (One month later!) Saying it needed to be a utility bill (why? What is more proof than a bank statement ffs)

Anyway I uploaded my gas and electric bill on Tuesday morning about an hour later after being asked

Yesterday morning it was approved. If this isn’t proof that casinos don’t bother with you until you ask to withdraw I don’t know what is. (Yes I didn’t ask to withdraw since the original asking for a utility bill)

Today, 72 hours later the withdrawal is still pending.

I don’t know why I keep using them.

No need to post this in this thread..... All you can do is wait. They will pay you, they are just painfully slow........ Just play elsewhere. I have told you already STOP playing at slots-million.

I suppose a mistake on the operators part could cause this if they dont configure the game or website correctly.
My brother was playing on his phone and I noticed the game he was playing didn't have the 2.5 second delay, which may have been a similar issue.

Think of the way VS keeps changing the battle games to enable auto and turbo play, same as that only with real play.

Just thought i would mention that William Hill seem to have made a big mistake. Was playing slots there and went to Extra Chilli.
It certainly took WH a while to realise the mistake then as I noticed X-citer was available on (at least one) games provided by Elk the weekend prior. I wonder how long that misconfiguration was live for then... at least 9 days?

does anyone think with us uk players being restricted to bonus buy and the 2.5 second delay put us at a disadvantage? ive spent alot of time finding the right to word it in google search but its a tricky one. coz although the outcome to any spin is determined by the rng on the server side, surely the ability to poke it for more outcomes puts those who are able at an advantage.. an example is (inparticular with play n go) i would find it so easy to hit bonuses on bod, royal masquarade, pimped and all those popular png games when i could stop the reels early.. but since having to let each spin play out its tonnes harder to get a bonus. i just wonder what the game providers are doing if anything to balance the fairness now we cant stop early or just buy into a bonus. in my opinion the ukgc is just another way to tell us how we should be spending our money. i get some ppl out there have issues and that gambling is actually addictive but with all the psychology research they do, you would think they would have an algorhythm to spot an addictive playing pattern to a( i dunno how to label the latter) the player wanting to prod the sever for a win. and to add to that i find it insulting that ukgc is dictating to me how i should spend "my" money. im sure if we reversed it on the politicians and policy makers here in the uk and told them they can only shop in primark and aldi they wouldnt have it lol

Yeah, you would as the spin speed covers twice the amount of spins in any given time so it will of course give the impression that bonuses are more frequent, well certainly time-wise but NOT more bonuses per average amount of spins the game's maths produces over time....

yes that is what ive learned from researching online also... but one cant help but feel at a disadvantage by the 2.5 second delay, i often have my developer tools enabled along any game im playing as i find it fanscinating to see the descion come in before seeing the play out of any given spin... but lets say the way a casino server, or game provider is set up on thier side... and also taking into consideration my internet speeds, lag and computer abilty wouldnt you say that having having control (of what might even be a millisecond) the spin rate is and important part of spinning slots ?

The RNGs cycle millions of results per second so it will not make any difference in that respect.

That's going to be the kicker - I've lost count of the number of slots that rolled nicely around 3-4 seconds a spin, that now have artificial delays and take 5-10 seconds instead (and without autoplay, even longer). They were never the target of that UKGC requirement, but because of the aggressive wording they had to be overly cautious, something like "a target of 3 seconds per spin minimum" and they would have needed to change nothing apart from disabling the turbo option, while sniping all the ultra-hyper-mega-turbo spins from certain providers.

cool, i take it your all intelligent and savey advisors in this repect. my main concern of all the new rules being issued, was just that it was fair to us playing in the uk. as with reguards with rng generation, its true that the rtp of game is the true result over millions of spins. but where software is concerned i think each casino runs its own rng software to produce the results, im not sure of that though i never ran my own online casino to find out. i think the complicated nature of a random number is pretty fascinating tho.. i always thought that an online casino ran its own rng as i always thought they had extra controls and settings on thier end of things to control pay out rates and rtp ?

p.s. nice one casinomeister, upon checking my emails ive actually had a reply from the ukgc itself!! thats pretty cool to rub shoulders with those in the commision lol.

It has been a few months since this happened, but looks like WilliamHill have been held accountable for the bonus buy snafu and have credited players (for net losses) on bonus buys on (at least) Elk Studios and Big Time Gaming... revealed in a similarly cryptic way to the RTP announcement last week (the email makes no mention, but the manual adjustment says "ELK Buy Bonus").

I lost fair and square so hadn't mentioned it beyond this thread in October, so a welcome surprise to get a refund on that!

We've added money to your account

You might have played one of our in-game features that shouldn’t have been available.

So, we’ve added the funds back to your account. We’re sorry for the mix up!

If you have any questions, get in touch via Live Chat and we’ll be happy to help.

Thanks as like usual not had an email from william hill yet will probably come later.

Thought it must have been from the extra chilli I played last year as said btg. Least I now know why they put money in.

Like yourself I played game and lost so that was it. Would never have contacted them as it was my choice so was nice surprise to get money in account from them.
