It's a £70 jackpot UK AWP emulation, released by the manufacturer themselves. (This is a real fruit machine that can be found in pubs and arcades in the UK.)

It comes loaded with £25 of credits to play with, and you get £2.50 per day of free credits, beyond that you have to buy more credits, but as it's for entertainment only you can never actually win anything.

A few of us have been discussing it on a set of UK AWP forums and the consensus is that it's absolutely true to the real machine, which is surprising in a way because it's such a ruthless bastard!

Like all UK AWPs this slot is COMPENSATED, which means the more you play, and the more you refuse wins, the closer it gets to a big payout - i.e. it can be forced in a way that a random slot cannot.

I lost my £25 of free money, and three days' worth of £2.50s, then I spent £2.99 on £60 more of credits - and lost the lot :D Didn't jackpot it either :(

Have a go, it's quite good fun :)

I'm really surprised you would spend real money on fake credits. I just can't understand the reasoning behind it.

Well I don't think I'll spend any more real money on it, probably just let my free £2.50s mount up and play those through every four or five days.

Emulation of a £70 jackpot AWP is sort of the holy grail in a way, as 'proper' emulation never went past the £25 jackpot era. There were a handful of £35 jackpot AWPs that ran on the original emulators, but only in door open mode which is a ridiculously generous sort of test mode.

£70 jackpot AWPs have never been emulated, so short of playing a real one at the pub, this is the only way to play them.

Here is a real one, by the way :)

Nice game.

Patience malfunction:p

I have been dabbling with Clickfun on Facebook for ages, but have NEVER bought any of the worthless credits. I just claim the free ones, and every few weeks when I have saved up a good chunk I have a play till they have gone.

I suspect the idea behind this is to get our attention, and to try playing the real thing in the pub. I have noticed that machines in pubs are hardly ever played, so most money must come from a small pool of dedicated players. These are also likely to be the better players, and unlikely to play too much if they know the machine has paid out recently.

Perhaps proper emulation will come, like it did with the £25 machines.
