Took The Kidlets To The Zoo On The Weekend...

Took the kids to the Zoo on the weekend.... Hadn't been in ages! Was great fun and cheap too!

It's nice to know you can still take the kids out for not much money and have a nice day out.

Packed a picnic lunch and made a day of it!

The Pandas(They are larger than I had thought!)

The Hippos(Younger kids had no idea what they were, thought they were cows that lived in the water!)

Two Year Old having a tanty because the giant donation box didn't give him back his money!

The Lions were great. Told the kids that they let the lions out at night to protect the Zoo so we need to hurry up(Was at closing time), have never seen kids move so fast!

Picture of the kids on the Panda statue(Took ages to get a decent pic because the kids would move or someone would walk in to frame! Ended up with two good ones.)

The Koala. Quite aggressive little buggers!

Hairy Nosed Wombat. Another Aggressive Native!

The Giraffes. Another animal the younger kids had no idea what it was!

Over all was a great day out!

Last time I went to the Zoo they wouldn't let me out. Four rangers had me in restraints until a vet arrived to confirm I was actually human......

Yes all mine.... Didn't have a telly for a few years!

11, 9, 7, 4 and 2 years old. (2YO is technically a stepson but have been with him since one month old and biologocal father is not around nor has ever been, So I'm just Dad!)
