Just a very quick question, I was playing thunderstruck 2 on pc the other night i was playing at a high rate of over 4pound per spin when I was lucky enough to hit the bonus,but to my totally disappointment my bonus had been but back to level one...I actually won just over 5 pounds from that bonus but that's life...I was more disappointed about the fact I was level one and I couldnt pick the bonus I wanted.was told by rizk online support the problem came from that I unlocked the bonuses from the mobile version not the pc version...I wasn't impressed as both games look identical to me and I thought the bonus counter would continue regardless...I actually closed my account over this as nobody could see my point...or was it me just being a knobhead and making an issue out of nothing?

This is really a bunch of "eye candy", but it seems to be something that has come back to haunt the slot designers who thought it up. This reset keeps on happening, even when players are playing the same version of the game they had previously unlocked. Players believe they are losing out when all their "hard work" in unlocking all 4 bonus rounds suddenly gets wiped and they are back to where they started.

The feature itself isn't stored as robustly as your account balance, an oversight in the design that is causing all these problems. If players kept finding their account balance zeroed as often as these slots have the bonus progress wiped there would be an outcry, and probably an investigation from the licensing authorities.

This is not the first time a player has quit a casino over this issue.


It does appear that this happens more often with the multi provider platforms than stand alone Microgaming casinos. It's also true that the Viper version, browser version, and phone/tablet version, are 3 different instances of the game on the player account, each with their own tally of unlocked bonus levels and achievements.

The point is, all 4 different bonuses have the potential to pay out similar amounts...
If the 10 spins @x5 had given you a HUGE win - would you have still been disappointed & closed your account?
I think not.

I wouldn't call you a knobhead, as I can understand why you were upset, but I do think closing your account was an over-reaction if your experience with this casino had otherwise been very good.
If nothing else - it has taught you something - and believe me, EVERYONE on this forum has learned something in a similar way! :oops:
Unlike some MG slots, your bonus status is not shown on the "play screen" - but you can view it on slots like TS2 by looking at the pay-table.

Might as well borrow this thread for a small question of mine .. You'd think it's simple math and I could count it myself but apparently I can't .. if you get 5 wild reels on Wildstorm or Wild Desire (On immortal), how much money do you win on 0,30€ bet? I remember either seeing or someone claiming that it'd be 10x243 = 2430€, but wouldn't five ladies in Immortal be only 5€ per "line", because there isn't an "Immortal Romance" symbol to double the win?

Also I can relate to OP's pain. Eye candy or not, it is truly annoying to play and spend something to unlock everything in a game and then have it stripped away from you. I've only ever had everything unlocked on Immortal just once - back in the days on Ladbrokes. I was pissed to say the least when I heard Ladbrokes is withdrawing all of their MG games and moving onto Playtech. Similarly some time ago I re-installed my Windows and I wanted to play on Wild Jackpots again, yet I could not find their downloadable client anywhere. The live chat told me it's discontinued (which is bs, because I had it on my old pc and it worked just fine), so I couldn't keep on collecting the features for Immortal, as the flash version online started back from zero. That live chat was pretty retarded though, as they told me that the information is stored on my pc so I'd have lost it anyway because I re-installed windows .. LOL not true.
 
I can imagine that having your previous 'investment' into a slot wiped out, or having to unlock the same features on three platforms, can be rather infuriating to those that feel they may want to choose a bonus feature other than the default one.

I wouldn't blame the casino as such though or feel the need to close my account over it, it's an issue for MG and the sites they lease their games to, to sort out.

I unlocked to the third bonus feature as I recall as I don't play it that much anymore. But I do think the original 10x5 bonus is my preferred choice anyway. Short,sweet and exciting. Although more of the 'short' from what I remember :(
 
Thanks for all the good points you guy's have made...yes looking back it was probably an over reaction from me as rizk casino is up there with the best of them, but maybe it was the fact I waited so long for the bonus to come up in the first place and probably the fact I would of never picked lvl 1 bonus as it's not my prefered choice (plus it only payed just over 5 pounds) ...but the thing what sealed my fate and made me ultimately chuck my dummy out the pram was the lack of understanding from rizk, I'm not knocking them but was basically told it was pretty much a design flaw and something that's an issue with the provider's of the software..and there was nothing that rizk could do...but at the end of the day even if there was a little pop up screen that warned you of this happening that would of made the difference to me and probably many other's out there....still a lesson learned but definitely a bitter pill to swallow
 
Ps just a quick one...do you think it would be worth contacting the rizk rep about this issue I had or should I just put it down to one of those thing's and move on? Lol

It's not up to Rizk I'm afraid. They wouldn't be able to do anything for you, other than re-open your account. It's not a design flaw on Rizk's end, but the way Microgaming and their games function with the bonus unlocks. A flash game is considered a separate game from a mobile game in this case, so obviously you cannot have mobile unlocks on the flash version and Rizk rep sure as hell won't be able to add them to you.

Looking at the OPs original post the issue seems to be not that anything has been wiped, its the simple fact that the mobile version of TS2 is totally seperate from the desktop version. I.e if I play and progress on the mobile version all the bonus rounds, then begin play on the desktop version, as they are not linked in anyway then all my progression on the mobile version is irrelevant.

That applies to Casinos, its just how the game works.
