Three online casino affiliates indicited by DOJ

The US Department of Justice last night unsealed an indictment against 3 online casino affiliates for promoting unregulated sites taking North American customers.

The main charge appears to be "facilitating gambling" although there might be some financial shenanigans behind the other charges. I don't recognise any of the websites involved (betterusanetgaming??) but scary times.

We all know how tough a time USA facing casinos have had since 2006 but now affiliates surely must consider their positions. Link to indictment.. Outdated URL (Invalid)

This follows on from the last time this happened in 2005 under the charge of "promoting gambling"

Assistant Prosecutor Melanie Smith argued, however, that under current state law, "A person is guilty of promoting gambling when he or she knowingly engages in a conduct that materially aids forms of gambling activity"--in this case, profiting from a business that facilitates sports betting.
