THREE NEW GAMES FOR PLAYTECH FANS

Thrills, aliens and football feature in latest games

Online games developer and turnkey provider Playtech has released three new games into its online casino game inventory. The new arrivals are in addition to the expanded introduction of the progressive side game Dollar Ball to all of Playtech's non-progressive 5-reel video slots games.

Playtech's latest games release include the state of the art Alien Hunter, a 5-reel 25-line video slots games based on a Sci-Fi theme and featuring three different bonus rounds. Alien Hunter boasts Playtech's first ever Skill Based bonus round which lets players test their shooting skills by capturing aliens that appear randomly on the screen, with the player's performance determining the size of the bonus prize.

Thrill Seekers is based on amusement park themed animation and makes use of an animated splash screen. Thrill Seekers is Playtech's first 50-line video slots game and utilizes a new game layout of four visible reel positions per reel to accommodate the multiple payline combinations.

The third new game, Football Rules, is a 5-reel 25-line video slots game themed around "the beautiful game' - football. The game features a penalty shot bonus round in which free spins and win multipliers for all wins accumulated during free spins are the prizes.

The last addition to the casino games package is the integration of the Playtech-patented progressive side game Dollar Ball into all of Playtech's non-progressive 5-reel video slot games.

Avigur Zmora, Playtech CEO commented: "We are very pleased with Playtech's latest additions to its casino games package as this release is in line with our efforts to provide our licensees with an enhanced casino gaming package. Each of the games was developed in the best of Playtech tradition according to the needs and requests of our licensees and their clients and reflects Playtech's efforts to release more games in greater frequency."

i was sent a free chip to try these games from some casino and tried football rules. it was decent but i didn't get the feature at all. i hit some nice wins playing 1c coin / 25 lines and the $10 lasted about eight to ten minutes spinning at this level. maybe 80-100 spins at 1c/25line, with the max win on a spin being about 6.50 on the 25c pull. the "ref" symbol is funny when you get two or more it has a sweet animation and imo the guy looks like mike skinner the streets. i am going to try to get a hold of the gif graphic and make it my avatar, anyone maybe wanna help me with this? i'm not the techhiest  cheers!

4 rows, 50 win-lines??? OMFG!
Enough already!

Good to see some innovation though - are you watching MG?

Hi! Can someone tell me which casino has the new games? I can't find them.
Thanks!
Hi - welcome to the forum!

If you've not been lurking a long time you may not know that Jetset is quicker than a Cheetah, and may well be announcing this news before it has even happened! :p

I would expect to see these games filtering through to all Playtechs in the next week or so...

Games are released in a staggered manner to the various Playtech casinos over a period of time until they all have the games. I've only played Tila Casino recently and they have Alien Hunter and Football Rules, but not Thrill Seeker.

There are probably other Playtech casinos out there that have one or two of the games, and possibly some that have all three already. I'd like to check out Thrill Seeker as well so anyone who's spotted it let us know where :)

alien slot

I played the alien Slot on sierrastarcasino, and it was really nice.

I hit some bonus rounds and the one where you can shoot the aliens per mouseclicks, it must be the "skill-game", was funny and i won around 400$ on this bonus around for a 10$ spin.

Sadly i have no screenshot, but you have to try it out.

I also tryed the other slots but they didnt really impressed me, nothing you have not seen before.

I saw this Press Release on PrWeb.com, and when I read about the 50 line game, I thought that was a little much for a slot machine. But, I will give Playtech for some innovation in creating unique games. But, talk about going losing your money fast....I wonder what the odds of winning would be like on this kind of game?

top secret information ;-) I can't give the real mathematical numbers due to confidentiality but to give you an idea of the player return for the new 50 lines slot:

RTP
>95%
Hit Frequency (50 lines)
>95%
Max win (in coins, when betting 10 coins per line)
200,000 coins
Max win (monetary, when betting 10 coins per line)
200,000 * max coin size

This to give you an inside of the extremely high return to the players!

Have fun!

BTW: Atronic landbase casino slots have already over 50 paying lines if i remember right around 80 but surely not gives a return of over 95% ;)

Not knowing the rollout schedule, I probably know less about where it's available. I figured since you guys play at many more places than I do, you'd have a better idea.

Hey Spear - there is something SERIOUSLY wrong with Alien Hunter!

Was trying this one in fun mode, and got the 'Egg bonus'.
This is what the rules say:

Old Attachment (Invalid)

The first egg I picked was centre front - the x2 egg!

Old Attachment (Invalid)

When I picked the egg centre back, an alien apeared & the round was over.

Now then - count up all the values & multiply by 2 please. 170, right?
But then this screen came up:-

Old Attachment (Invalid)

Now even if you ignored the x2 egg, the total is not right.
I figured it could just be a visual glitch, but when I clicked 'continue' the win was confirmed as being just 60 quid.

Old Attachment (Invalid)

So where did my other 110 go???

Spear, please can you alert the technical team of this glitch ASAP!
In the meantime, I'll play on & see if it happens again...

I've forwarded this thread to our account manager for review by the tech team. I'm not sure by myself if it's right or not.

Will let you know what the playtech answer is. Can you confirm it happens in the FUN mode?

Thanks
Frank

Yep - definitely not right!

Add these up:-

Old Attachment (Invalid)

I make that 70, not this:-

Old Attachment (Invalid)

Only 2.50 light, but still wrong.

Why are slot exact payouts secret? Everyone knows what are expected return in card and table games, why not in slots?

Rival and WagerWorks are the only casinos I know that publish payout for each slot (they differ a little between the slots). For MG I kind of trust them to all be 95%+.

But I still hope other software providers will be as open as Rival and WagerWorks.

Expected return in all games are published by outside parties, not by the software manufacturers... and since slot games don't provide enough information to determine an expected return, you won't see these numbers published. Also, in the case of some software manufacturers, online or off, the same slot game may provide different returns based on operator settings.

Yes - it was all in fun mode.

After the above 2, I got the feature 4 more times.
Twice it paid the correct amount, but the other two:-
Won 190 - it paid out 125
Won 75 - it paid out 45

I have screenshots of these as well if you really need them.
But why not just go play the game yourself & see!

It's what playtech is doing right now. It might be bind to or to the fun mode but they will get back to me as soon as possible. This matter was taken extremely seriously and is investigated at the moment.

Answer from playtech:

We have confirmed that there indeed is a problem in the bonus round with the eggs in Alien Hunter. According to the game help the winnings for the eggs should be multiplied with the line bet. At the moment they don't get multiplied. We are consulting with our client production team to check if this is a mistake in the game help or a problem with the game itself. Furthermore the x2 multiplier egg does not work as it's described in the game help. The winnings for the eggs opened after the x2 egg is found should be doubled but do not at the moment. Please note that the problems occur in both fun and real mode.
