Ok first off i am apsolutely hating having to write this i have been a member of thisisvegas for a while now and made a few deposits and no withdrawals. I have now made a withdrawal and receive an emailing saying i need to provide id i have never had to do this ever but i have went along with it and sent in my id.

i sent my driving licence utility bill and the sighned letter and left it the weekend i was told on friday i would recieve and email that day or probably monday so i left it till monday.

Monday i log on to support and am told that i will be contatced before the end of buisness day i wait and hear nothing i log onto chat again and am told that the buisness day is over but they can see that i need to send in the photo id part of my license which was not asked for in the first place also i have still not recieved one email from secuirty and am told that noone can phone them only email them.

The reason that i have been told that i have not recived the email that it is in the queue and that they sent out thousands per day.

I am messaging this as i have posted on links that the thisisvegas rep has responded to and i also sent him an email and a private message none of which have been responded to.

Could anyone who has had any dealing with thisisvegas or the rep please respond to this.

This is the only time i have had to provide any sort of id to a casino in 6/7 years of online gambling and am not amused a company has been happy to take my depsoits but when i want a withdrawal i have to jump through hoops this is not on.

Usually John responds pretty quick so I don't know what to tell you. I haven't had to send in documents in a long time but when I did, I usually heard from security by the next day.

I wish I could be more help but I don't play there anymore, just Sloto'cash, so I guess just keep PM and emailing. :what:

I am sure all will be worked out.

Since this is your first withdrawal it sounds reasonable to ask you for docs. I cant remember whether it was TIV or SS but after sending in my docs, the withdrawal was approved the next day. Mind you, this was before the apparent delaying of payments over the past few months.

The email queue excuse is absurd. How could they possibly think of it?

i had to jump thru all kinds off hoops the first time i made a withdrawal but once it was done i have never had a problem with payouts from t.i.v.....im sure john will respond to your p.m soon, he used to be pretty good about that......................laurie:)

Many long time players will find themselves being asked for ID now for new accounts, and even older ones where they make their first withdrawal. This is because things are not the same as before, casinos just do not trust their players anywhere near the extent they used to. Before, documents were requested if there was any niggling doubt that the player was up to something, now, documents are requested as the assumtion is that players are potentially guilty of fraud, and presentation of the requested documents clears them as "innocent", until security find some reason later on to doubt this.

Usually, what is requested is 1x Photo ID & 1x bill to address proving link between player and the registered address. If cards have been used, then a deposit declaration form is usually required.

While "thousands" of Emails are sent daily, this would be the routine stuff through support - are they really trying to claim that SECURITY have to deal with "thousands" of Emails a day!
It is more like SUPPORT have screwed up in not properly processing the sent documents, and are sitting on this as though it was some minor routine inquiry of less importance than those that prevent players from DEPOSITING, which I am sure get answered quickly.
This simply adds further delay to the process of getting paid, a day here, a delay there, it all adds up. The result being p****d off players, who might not bother to deposit again after such an experience of incompetence.

There are still a few developed countries that do NOT routinely issue PHOTO ID to citizens (the UK being one - citizens use Drivers licence or passport if they have one as a proxy form of photo ID), and citizens have to apply for something only when they have a need for it. This adds even further delay, as it now can take a couple of months to get a passport, and even a driving licence (the new one, with photo) can take a month.

Although the EU has stipulated that all Drivers Licences have to be a photo one, the UK government has managed to get itself an "opt out" in the sense that those who already have the old style are not automatically changed over to the new form - cost of doing so being the main driving force, the government simply don't want to pay for it. By only allowing drivers to get the new form if they want it, the government are able to charge the driver again for what he has already paid for because they claim it was a voluntary act. To get one for free, either move house, or get a driving ban, or get sick and have them put you on a medical licence.

If you don't have a photo licence, or passport, then you have at least a month to wait for this withdrawal, but you should eventually get it.

As far as I know, the UK is unique in the EU for not having some kind of universal ID card that all citizens routinely get issued when they become adults. All we get issued with is our unique national insurance number, which comes on a bit of paper or a letter - no card or photo, but this unique number DOES act as ID in the computers at Revenue & Customs (except when they cock-up, and issue duplicates, or even lose CDs containing the data:rolleyes:)

Some progress

Well so far i have had some progress today first of all i have not received the said email that was in the queue so that has dissapeared so if i handt logges on to chat and asked what was going on i would still be none the wiser.

I sent in the photpart of the id twice just to be sure and got the chat operator to look at it and they said they thought it looked ok but security had to verify it so they couldnt guarantee it woule be ok.

Today i have received and email that just says your documents have been accepted so that has got to be a good sign just have to see how long it takes for my cashout to arrive now.

I have not recieved a response to my messages to the thisisvegas rep here which i find a little worrying as the reason i chose to try thisisvegas as i had saw the rep helping people and all problems were worked out so i thought this would be safe and others play there also.

All in all im not amused at all with this situation as while this has been going on i have reversed a portion of my winnings due to lack of disipline also i had asked for the withdrawals to be flushed which they were. But they still let me reverse some as they were not being processed which kind of defeats the purpose of flushing them.

this whole episode even if i get what left of winnings has left me with a bad experience thats for sure.

Well thats end of it

Well i can say that it is finally over now i just reversed the last of my suposedly flushed withdrawals and blew them so i will never find out if i would ever have gotten my money i hope this issue warns others to have 1 more patience than me 2 to email documents before they start playing i am sickened over this whole experience now what a complete farce rivals wont be getting another penny from me.

Still pizzed

Also i still have not been contacted by the rep on here even though private messaging him and emailing him whilst he has been on the forum friday sat and sunday.

The United States does not have national ID either. The social security card is issued at birth (or shortly thereafter), and has no photo.
Driver's licenses are the "standard" form of photo ID, so if you have epilepsy, for example, and can't get a driver's license, you have to make a special request (at least in NY state) for a non-driver photo ID from the department of motor vehicles. Apparently, it's easier to just get a passport.
