The Quest for Home continues

Haven't been around or online much since my landlord sold my home end of June.
Been a bitch to trying to find a home I can afford which will accommodate my dogs - and I'd not part with them for a million bucks.
Been couch surfing and motel living and running the country-side trying to find 'the' place.
Now it seems, after many false starts, places scooped up etc, I may have one, so fingers crossed, I check it out tomorrow.
Madly out of my budget, thousands of miles from friends and family, and in a town where you'd have to count the bears in the yard to break 100.
But....big ol farmhouse, loads of room and ample acreage for the monsters which are my biggest concern.
Will be paying out the butt for internet connectivity and not even near so much as a grocery mart, but I'm hopeful anyway lol.
Fingers crossed I'll get it, can get my items out of storage and moved in for the wicked winters this way.

Won't have 2 nickels to play online...hope casinos remember my birthday when there's a 2 month deposit gap lol cuz I'll be praying for a win. :p

Will update if successful with pics.

I hope you get it OK and like it when you do. Sounds like my idea of a dream, away from the peasantry with a nice-sized acreage. It's an ass-pain moving, so I wait your Xmas screenshots from the chips!

I hope you get the place and look forward to seeing the pics, best of luck dionysus!:)

I have a feeling far from anywhere might mean something different in Canada and the UK.

Hope it works out for you Dion. We miss you around here.

Quite, you can't even get "thousands of miles away from friends and family" in the UK without moving to a different country. Here it's "hundreds of miles". I also expect that if a Canadian says the nearest store is in the next town, it's the equivalent of telling someone who is about to move to Manchester that the nearest shop is in London.
