The masked singer, bookies odds. Easy to cheat?

So the Masked Singer which is on now was filmed last September and they had audiences sat in groups to keep in line with the restrictions etc.

But I see now that Bookies have odds on who the masked singer could be, wouldn't this be very easy to cheat?

If you were in the audience you would know who is under the mask when it's revealed...

I imagine with these markets there’s small limits which may mean the select few who know the outcome could win a few quid, but the bookies still make a profit from the vast majority that dont.

Who is betting on it out of interest?

I thought the exact same thing!
If I ran a bookies I definitely would NOT offer odds on something which happened months ago!

I quite like the show and watch it every week - but I'm CRAP at guessing who the celebrities are.
Mind you, with some of them, even when they take off their masks I STILL don't know who they are!

Shall I publicly admit this....

I found myself watching this, it is the biggest pile of crap ever invented which is actually quite good

The person who invented it much have some seriously twisted imagination and extremely warped dreams

We 'tune in' most Saturdays (mostly cos there is feck all else to watch) - Most annoying part is the robotic panel and there lack of acting skills but as I say weirdly addictive

Glenn Hoddle (last week?) took me by surprise but never heard of the actor from last night's reveal.

I just find it strange to offer this, but as you say Mark most people will probably just have a guess, it might not even be among the names they have on the list who are the masked singer.

I get odds on a live show, where audience have to vote and such, but not on a pre-recorded show.
One of the audience members could tell a friend who it was and then the ball rolls..

I've never watched this programme but I remember reading that the audience are removed from the studio when they reveal the singer.
