I thought it was brutally boring BUT.....for those who do enjoy M Night Movies and watch it....THere's a scene that takes place at a diner called the Filbert...Rich and I live one block off of that road about 3 miles down (the same way they turn out of the diner to head to NJ). Anyway, Rich and I eat breakfast at that diner once in awhile. They also show you a huge Park, THats Valley Forge Park, where I take the pics of the deer. You will also see Limerick Power plant towers, I can see them from my bedroom window even though they are about 3 miles away from me. So if you watch that movie, then you will see the area I live in :)

They changed the name of the diner for the movie because they decided to call my town Filbert instead of Phoenixville. Just a little FYI.

neat. did you know they were shooting there? or was it a set shown to realistically depict the town where you live?

unfortunately, i think i'll give it a pass... i heard all his movies are shite. the only movie i actually went to see based on who directed was spielberg war of the worlds. apart from being lame and slow, it was slightly cool, and i love dakota fanning what a little darling she is. cruise is a d-bag though! oh, i saw kill bill because it was tarantino, but also because i knew it would be good. grindhouse, i missed in theatre though. i downloaded it, but have yet to watch it. i will admit to being a qt fanboy!

I gorged on science fiction (and fantasy) from the time I read HG Well's War of the Worlds as a child.... While everything I've read says that The Happening was written by MNS, from the first promo I saw on TV I have the idea in my head that I've read (or seen) this story before. Unfortunately, my memory is such that I have no clue as to the original work that sparked this 'deja vu' feeling.

Yes Happy

They filmed there, the traffic was a pain in the butt for a few days lol. I was tempted to walk up there (the road was closed) and try to get a small part in the diner scene but I never did lol
