If you're a loyal member of 32Red, then you'll know what I mean when I say that their comps are the best you can find anywhere. Ed Ware and his team are full of pleasant surprises... and I just want to say thank you to the 32Red team for some very nice gifts lately!

Would you care to explain? Are we talking level of action or losses? Cash comps or bunches of flowers?

My recollection is that they have one of the worst of the MG standard player rewards programmes out there, hence my curiosity.

Caruso.. I had expected as much from you after reading some older posts in which you slammed 32Red and even Ed Ware personally, but my story with 32 Red began a few years ago when I had initially signed up with them. As was my custom on sign-up, I forwarded copies of my Identification (driver's license) , Utility bill, and several other personal documents so that I could speed up any future possible cash-ins. I then attempted to make a deposit and play, but for some unknown reason, I was not able to connect and run the casino, so I contacted support and she and I were eventually able to get things working. No big deal to me. The next day I'm on the phone with support for one reason or another, and the guy on the other end identifies himself as Ed Ware, the CEO of the company. The friendliest guy you could ever want to meet in my opinion. We had a great conversation and got to know a little bit about each other, and during the conversation he says that he had heard that I had a little problem connecting to the casino at first, so he says "I put a little gift in your account for your troubles" So I look after we hung up, and there's $200.00 sitting there... without any restrictions or waging requirements attached. By the way.. any time Ed has given me casino credits, it has never had any strings attached. Do you call two hundred dollars stingy or cheap Caruso? Over the past few years, Ed and I have dropped each other emails occassionally.. and there have been many times in the past few years that he and his staff have lavished comps to me in the form of casino credits, and there's probably never been one that was under $150.00. I don't know what you have against 32Red Caruso, but as I stated earlier, I have read some earlier postings by you in which you vent your hostility towards them, but my answer to you would be is that you obviously aren't a regular player with them or you would have agreed with the opinions of so many people who believe that this is the greatest gambling establishment on the internet. If you have any other questions Caruso, please feel free to ask. Tim

I think Caruso's point was probably that their standard comp program is non existant for normal members and I believe very poor even for VIPs.

However I really can't see how the industry standard, pathetic 1 comps per 1000 wagering appeals to most recreational players. After all, especially if you're playing slots, this 0.1% makes a tiny dent in the casinos edge.

Far better I think are these one off ones and the extra benefits and I have heard from many people that in this area 32red excells.

I get back on their monthly list every now and again but most of the time I don't even get that. Fair enough though

Exactly. I believe their standard comp programme is very poor.

Whoa there now, I've never "slammed" anyone at 32Red "personally". I'd invite you to provide a link to any post I made as evidence of "slamming" Mr. Ed, or retract that remark.

Why the hostility? I asked you about the nature of the comps, for the above reason. Your answer doesn't provide the clarification I was after because your action and the games you play are still unknown - although I see in another thread that you're a slot player, which goes some way to explaining things. If you shovel $4000 through a slot machine, that's $200 up in smoke already. I've seen slot players play, and 4K wagering ain't exactly a big deal to them.

My point? This is only one side of the coin we're seeing. $200 comp = great. $200 comp on $400 loss = BFD.

32Red locked me out after three $32 bonuses and a $100 December one-off a couple of years ago. I have received spectacularly better treatment from at least twenty other Microgaming casinos - I can happily provide a list.

I do not rate a casino that showers their slot junkies with champagne and freaks out after $190 in freebies to a blackjack player.

Caruso, I am referring to an older thread entitled 32Red now accepting U.S. players again. Ed Ware posted on that thread, and you were very rude to him to say the least. I indeed do prefer the slots, and I know that the odds of beating the slots are horrendous in the long run.. but I also know that if you're in the right place at the right time on the slots, that you can get a payout far greater in regards to the amount wagered than you can on any table games. The night I won $16,000.00 at 32Red on slots comes to mind as an example of this. Besides that... table games bore me. You also made a point that a $200.00 gift to a "slots" player is no big deal because of the amount of money slots players go through, but I will refresh your memory to the fact that this gift was given before I had even played there yet, so He didn't know what type of player I was.... and that two hundred dollars was just one of many things... not to mention how friendly and helpful his support team is. I've deposited far greater amounts at other places like Colosseum Casino and UK Club before I became committed to 32Red, and I never received any personal treatment or thanks other than the standard loyalty club points that suck anyway. I hope this explains what I was trying to convey, and I wish you luck, Caruso, at the casinos of your choice! Tim

Hey, do you know if they have play money rooms or not? I went to their site but didn't see any info on it?

The Microgaming software has a built-in guest account option upon your initial sign-up process, which allows you to try out any Microgaming Casino before you deposit real cash. Progressives are not included in this option.. but you can play all other games.

Wow.

I made over $100,000 worth of bets in a 2 day span last week at 32RED,have made tons of deposits over the last 4 months...what does a guy gotta do to get some of these comps?

I just wanted to publicly thank Ed for taking care of me after I publicly questioned them.

No surprise to me! That's the kind of guy Ed is. Enjoy your gift!

32Red's also got my vote as the number one online casino. If promos are your thing, then it's eithter 32/32 or 132/132 in your chosen denomination each month, with blackjack play allowed (unlike the majority of Microgaming which seem to ban virtually all games for promos except slots); prompt support; prompt payouts.

I think it's unreasonable to criticise 32Red on the basis of the comp programme - afterall 0.1% cashback seems to be the industrywide standard. I'd rather take that than the 0.5% offered at Casino US, another Microgaming, where my JorB video poker record has been consistently poor (I can't recall even hitting a full house), whereas at 32Red I've hit everything from a Royal down!

Having an honest and reliable casino in an unregulated sea of casino sharks should be applauded.

Having said all that though, I think the one area that 32Red could improve on is by offering player tournaments.

Invitation only. Take more than three, and dare to cash out - and you're history. And I'm talking 32 here, not 132. I've never seen anything in the region of 132.

There are FAR better casinos, with FAR better games, FAR better comp programmes and who are FAR less draconian with bonuses than 32Red.

You're right about the invitation only - when 32Red first introduced the monthly match, I'm sure it was open to everyone, no invite needed. It's been a while since I checked T&C. However, anyone who plays there regularly will get the offer, or the 132 if they're a higher roller.

I have to disagree though on the better casinos comment though, based on the reasons I posted earlier.

I am curious though Caruso as to the casinos you have in mind with regard to better comp programmes and bonuses? I have to say that the other casinos who I consider top notch apart from 32Red in terms of honesty, customer service, and prompt payouts, aren't particularly generous on the comp/promo front. This would include iNetBet, the Trident Lounge group, Ladbrokes, William Hill, Aces High.

I'm not a big roller but play small amounts fairly frequently and 32Red is actually one of 3 microgaming casinos I play regularly. To me the customer service and quick pay is worth it. I like that they will flush my account quickly after I do a withdrawal request without my having to request it.

My birthday was last month and I didn't receive any free money but was given a 100% match bonus.

Just my .02 worth..

From a bonus-hunter perspective I'd agree. From a serious player POV, you just have to look around here to see that there are plenty who think they treat their customers well. And you get none of that 12 hour+ "reverse withdrawal" con at 32Red that you get everywhere else. Plus next day withdrawals and 10 minute support.

If you look back thru CM threads, the only complaints that have ever been levelled at 32Red are regarding "freebies" (yawn). That says it all really.

Cheers

Simmo!

I think you have to request it to be flushed. It would be a nice touch if they added instant withdrawals (well, with no unneccessary pending time anyway) as standard.

I've never had to request that a cashin be flushed elscrabinda - it seems leave the pending withdrawal state after a few hours automatically.

Yup - its 4 hours by default and an email to support they will reduce it to 1.

Ok. My original post stands. Why the need to email support?

I know its still a lot better than most MG casinos but thats no excuse really

Erm...i meant just a one-time email when you first sign up requesting 1 hour rather than 4 permanently, not every time you withdraw Els :)

I don't mean to press this point but why the need to email at all? It is obvious that a 1 hr pending time is more desirable than 4hrs so why not bring it in across the board?

Said it many times before, but I'll say it again... 32 RED are by a million miles the best there is in terms of looking after the player, responding *immediately* to customer service enquiries - and of course paying out ;)

As a regular player there, I too have had some very nice bonuses here and there (excluding the regular 132 monthly match) - and as was mentioned up there - totally no strings, no WR, just to say "thanks". Totally agreed that it's nice to have the owner of the place so accessible and seemingly interested in what his customers have to say too!

I think they do perfectly what we often criticise so many other casinos for not doing. Looking after and cherishing their regular players, keeping them loyal - and not just going all out to drag in the bonus hunters.

As long as they keep doing what they're doing, they'll win a whole load of new business from customer recommendations and referrals than any 'sign up' promotion ever would...
