Sorry for digging up this recent'ish old thread, but saves making another regarding the same casino in question.
I had an account at Supercasino a few years back. In fact, them along with Ladbrokes, MegaCasino and Slots Heaven were the original culprits for getting me into this online gambling mallarky!
Anyway, cut a long story short, I was getting a bit carried away on the Marvel Playtech slots (having won 3 or 4 progressive jackpots which kept luring be back) so closed accounts and swapped over to Netent and suchlike a few years back. I tried reopening my account at Supercasino (probably from seeing this thread) back in May 2016, but it appears they never received my signed form, so I just let it slip on by. Tried reopening the account again last week, scanned off another signed form last week then earlier today was asked for driving licence, credit card copies, statements for address verification, etc. Bit surprised as my account was fully verified, but no issue, sent them off.
However, they are asking for a photo of me holding my driving licence. Seriously? What is the purpose of that? My driving licence photo was taken when I had a seriously short number 1 clippered haircut (was commuting by motorbike, so was easier with this hairstyle t stop helmet perm), unlike now where it is just a mess. I'm not doing that as to me that is just plain silly and I won't embarrass myself with a stupid pose/picture of me holding my licence. I simply sent off a copy of my driving licence and said everything confirms with UKGC rules and if they don't like it, keep my account closed.
Is this now a requirement at casinos - namely standing there like a prat, holding a photo ID which probably won't show up properly on a photo anyway?
